CyberBase is a Paradox 4.x compatible data base tool.  All menus
are accessed by pressing Alt+highlighted letter.  For example, the
"File" menu is pulled down by Alt-F.  You can also access the menu
by pressing F10 or clicking the mouse on the desired menu item.

The desk top contains a {menu}, background and
{status line:StatusLine}.  All work takes place on the desk top.

.topic Menu
The menu is accessed by pressing F10 or Alt+highlighted letter.
For example, the File menu is pulled down by Alt+F.  Use cursor
keys to move and Enter to select.  A mouse can be used by clicking
on the desired item.

table.  Prevent full lock mode is used if the {engine} is
initialized for network use.

New allows you to create an empty table.  If the table exists, but
is not open it and all family members are deleted first.  A full
lock is placed on the table if the {engine} is initialized for

Append adds records from one table to another if both have the same
record structure.  The source table is write locked and the
destination table is full locked if the {engine} is initialized for
network use.

Copy copies records from one table to another if both have the same

destination table is full locked if the {engine} is initialized for
network use.

passwords can be stored at one time.

 WindowSize/Move  (Ctrl+F5)
  
Choose this command to change the size or position of the active
window.

 
  Size
 
If you press Shift while you use the arrow keys, you can change
the size of the active window.  Once you've adjusted its size or
position, press Enter.

If a window has a Resize corner, you can drag that corner to
resize the window.

 
  Move
 
When you choose WindowSize/Move, the active window moves in
response to the arrow keys.  Once you've moved the window to where
you want it, press Enter.

You can also move a window by dragging its title bar with the
mouse.

 WindowZoom  (F5)
  
Choose Zoom to resize the active window to the maximum size.  If
the window is already zoomed, you can choose this command to
restore it to its previous size.

You can also double-click anywhere on the window's title bar
(except where an icon appears) to zoom or unzoom the window.

Choose Next to cycle forwards through the windows on the desk top.

Choose Close to close the active window.

The Table editor window is a field level table editor.  Each field
modification is posted when a field is exited or the editor is
closed.  Records are automatically locked if the {engine} is
initialized for network use.  Non-keyed tables use record numbers
for fast searches, so non-keyed tables should only be edited in
full lock mode.

 Home               moves to left most character in field
 End                moves to right most character in field
 Left Arrow         moves one character left in field
 Right Arrow        moves one character right in field
 Down Arrow         moves one record down
 Up Arrow           moves one record up
 Tab                moves one field right
 Shift Tab          moves one field left
 Control Home       moves to first field of current record
 Control End        moves to last field of current record
 Page Up            moves one browser page up
 Page Down          moves one browser page down
 Control Page Up    moves to first record
 Control Page Down  moves to last record
 Insert             toggles insert/overwrite for all fields
 Control Insert     copies selected portion to paste buffer
 Shift Insert       replaces current field with paste buffer

 Enter              opens BLOB editor on BLOB fields

The unformatted memo BLOB editor allows you to edit unformatted
memo blobs with a Wordstar style editor.

The calculator is a simple four-function calculator with add,
subtract, multiply, and divide.  To operate the calculator you can
either use the keyboard or press the buttons on the calculator with
the mouse.  The 'C' key clears the calculator, the '' key erases
the last character typed, and the '' key toggles the value from
positive to negative (the keyboard equivalent of '' is '_').

The calendar displays the current month, highlighting today's date.
The next and previous months can be viewed using the '+' or '-'
keys respectively.  The mouse can also be used to change the month
by pressing the  or  icons.

The file list holds names sent by a {Tree window:TreeWindow} called
File List Builder.  Various functions require a file list to complete
their tasks.
