TITLE :BUG: GP Fault When Font Changed in Transporter Font Dialog
PRODUCT :Microsoft FoxPro
PROD/VER:2.60a
OPER/SYS:WINDOWS
KEYWORDS:kbinterop kbtool kbbuglist

---------------------------------------------------------------------
The information in this article applies to:

 - Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, version 2.6a
---------------------------------------------------------------------

SYMPTOMS
========

After generating an "Internal Consistency Error," FoxPro exits to Windows
and gives a general protection (GP) fault.

This problem occurs when transporting a FoxPro for MS-DOS report if, in the
Transporter's Font dialog, you change the default font for the MS-DOS
report to anything other than Courier.

RESOLUTION
==========

Do not use the Transporter's Font dialog to change the default font of a
report. First transport the report; then change the font in the FoxPro for
Windows Report Writer.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
