  * Sign-On Systems Brings CIC's Dynamic Signature Verification to Windows *
  **************************************************************************

Beverly Hills, CA -- June 1, 1994 Sign-On Systems, Inc., a Beverly Hills,
CA, software development firm, has announced Sign-On Verify (SOV) for FoxPro,
Visual Basic, and C/C++ (three separate products). Utilizing Communication
Intelligence Corporation's (NASDAQ/NMS:CICI) patented Dynamic Signature
Verification(tm) technology (DSV), SOV gives Windows software developers the
ability to prompt users for their signature and verify that the signature is
not a forgery. The software is an add-on library for each programming language
and requires the use of a digitizer tablet with a desktop computer (such as
CIC's recently announced Handwriter(tm) for Windows) or a pen-based computer.

To work, SOV requires a user to sign his or her name six times to create a
signature "template" for later comparison. Thereafter, every time a signature
is validated, the template is updated.

CIC's Handwriter Dynamic Signature Verification technology uses both the image
and the "dynamics" - the speed and acceleration of each stroke -- to pick out
the forgery between identical looking signatures.

SOV is targeted as a security add-on for new or existing applications, allowing
the Signature to be used in place of a login and password or PIN. Other
possible uses include signature verification at banks and other financial
institutions in place of signature cards or PIN numbers, approval of documents
or CAD drawings, and controlling access to security-sensitive areas.

The advantages of signature verification over other methods includes the fact
that a signature can never be stolen, then used repeatedly without the
owner's knowledge (like a password or PIN). Also, it is very difficult to lose
or forget a signature. "With security becoming a bigger issue all the time,
Signature Verification offers a convenient, safe method of protection,"
says Neal Barnett, president of Sign-On Systems,

SOV will be available in June, 1994 at a price of $395. A small royalty will
be charged per computer. Advanced orders are currently being accepted.
