UI Seminars Scheduled

If you feel like you're missing out of the power of UI, if there's a database
system you want to design but don't know where to begin, if you have trouble
attracting members of the opposite sex, here's your chance to change all that
(well, okay, not all of that). Mike Kelley, author of the incredible Clipper
template ALLCLIP.TEM (available for downloading on Wallsoft's BBS or free from
Mike Kelley and Associates), will be presenting two seminars in New York City,
January 31 and February 1, intended for all users of UI, whether they are
experienced programmers wishing to learn template language programming, or
beginning users wishing to get the most out of ALLCLIP.TEM.

The first seminar, ALLCLIP.TEM for Power Users, is designed for anyone who
wants to get the most of out ALLCLIP.TEM, the template that does everything.
It will cover all the advanced features, including UNIQUE indexing, scrolling
look-up tables, the full-functioned Query By Example and relational entries.
At the end of this eight-hour course, even beginners to database design will
be able to design their own systems using the advanced features ALLCLIP has
to offer.

The second seminar is The Art of Template Writing, for those wishing to write
their own templates. In this eight-hour program, Mike will present his insights
on the process of template development, taking the students through concrete
examples of template design, including such problems as designing popup and
pulldown menu systems, programming global help systems, and writing artificial
intelligence routines for template control.

The cost of each seminar is $150, and includes lunch, a student workbook, and
the latest copy of ALLCLIP.TEM (including the brand new online template help
system) with user's manual. A big bargain can be had if you sign up for both
seminars, at a total cost of $225.00.

If you own UI you can't afford not to invest in these seminars, where you will
finally get the programming power you always wanted. To make arrangements to
attend one or both, contact Jeff Evans at (718) 296-1461 or Mike Kelley at (702)
