INSTALLATION NOTES

The shareware version of IntelliGraph does not have an installation
program -- it is packed into a single archive file. Simply extract the
archive into a directory (such as IGRAPH). The .LIB file and .CH file
may be moved around to suit your taste, or you may modify your LIB and
INCLUDE environment variables to point to the directory that you
extracted the files to.

WHY REGISTER?

IntelliGraph is sold as shareware, which means that you try before you
buy. If you don't use it, you don't pay for it. If you find that
IntelliGraph suits your needs (and we hope that it does), you should
pay for the product by registering.

Registering will get you the the printed manual, and an enhanced
version of the library that supports additional graph types. By
registering, not onle are you supporting the shareware concept, but you
are also funding the continuing development of IntelliGraph, which
means an improved product with more features for you!

To register, print out the enclosed REGISTER.FRM, fill it out, and mail
it with check or money order to the address shown at the top of the
form.

CHANGE HISTORY

1.0	1/22/94	Initial Release

1.1	3/15/94	Minor update

Many changes to manifest constants to provide a more consistant
naming scheme, and shorter constants. Please review the manual
and header file for new names.

Several functions renamed to provide a cleaner API: IGClr() ->
IGColors(), IGPatt() -> IGPatterns(), and IGLegend() ->
	IGLegends()

When last work area is deleted, all internal storage is now
	automatically freed.

IGInfo() parameter now uses manifest constants.

Length of labels increased from 64 to 256 to allow longer title
	text.

Scaling API completely rewritten. Each axis is now controlled
by two functions: IG?AxisStyle() and IG?AxisScale(). The style
function now only recieves style flags.

Many options that were available in IGShow() have moved to the
appropriate AxisStyle functions. For example, instead of a
GRID parameter in the style option of IGShow(), you can now
turn grids on and off for the X and Y axes in their respective
	AxisStyle functions.

The control over axis origins is new and gives you greater
flexibility over how graphs are scaled.

New line styles are now supported (LS_SOLID, LS_DASH, LS_DOT,
LS_DASHDOT, and LS_DASHDOTDOT). These line styles are
available only in IntelliGraph; dGE does not support different
line styles. Lines styles work even with thick lines.
