PowerPOKER -- CASINO-TESTED TO BE THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE POKER SIMULATION
AVAILABLE!

SAN MATEO, Calif., March 25, 1994 - After seven years in development,
Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) announces the release of PowerPOKER for the
Apple Macintosh and PowerBook.

The brainchild of long-time Macintosh programmer, Todd L. Ouzts, PowerPOKER
was born in 1986 on a 128K Macintosh. As Ouzts' expertise grew, so did the
program, and today features 256-color graphics, QuickTime movies, and
support for Apple's new PlainTalk text-to-speech utility. His intention
was to develop the first comprehensive playing and tutorial program for
the world's most popular card game, and PowerPOKER resulted.

Seventy-seven poker variations are included, plus the ability for the
player to design his own. Sophisticated artificial intelligence gradually
hones and develops play levels up to those of a professional player.

For serious players, PowerPOKER provides a comprehensive array of tutorial
tools including hand analysis, historical hand strengths and historical
performance charts.

At any time, a number of options may be called up that will provide
in-depth statistics on the game at a hand by hand level. Hand Strengths
and Standings can be analyzed, and even reset if the player so desires.

For the ultimate high-tech poker party, PowerPOKER even allows up to 10
human players to compete simultaneously via LocalTalk, Ethernet, or
AppleTalk Remote Access over modems.
