Update Offers Enhancements and Improvements

Calgary, Alberta, Canada, March 24!1994 - International Software Systems
Inc. today announced the latest release of its CADPIPE P&ID, CADPIPE ORTHO
and CADPIPE ISO modules, version 3.1. Visitors to the A/E/C SYSTEMS '94
show in Washington, D.C. will be able to see this latest release in action

CADPIPE P&ID Version 3.1

Enhancements to this module include the automatic update of valve size
tags, automatically updating a manual valve's size and size tag when the
line size is edited or a reducer is placed; intelligent nozzles; automatic
direction of flow arrows: first CADPIPE looks for a check valve for
direction, if no check valve is found, the user will be prompted for a
flow direction; automatic line number update which gives the user the
security of knowing that all items on a line have the same line number,
regardless of the specification or size; title block revision update which
prevents operator error by automatically filling in the revision number,
equipment number increase from 10 to 15 characters allowing the designer
to use expanded descriptions; menu convenience for UNDO command which
makes it easier for the user to access this command.

CADPIPE ORTHO and ISO 3.1

Enhancements to these modules include the addition of a generic attribute
for Bill of Materials flexibility allowing the user to attach a CADPIPE
node to any item so that a detail may be drawn and individual pieces may
appear in the B.O.M and be ballooned separately; minimum pipe length by
size so that the user can set up a different minimum pipe length for each
pipe size through the defaults file; items are automatically updated to
routing line designation so the operator doesn't have to worry about
keeping track of the correct routing line numbers; the ISO module includes
an edit text ISOplane command that lets the user quickly change the
ISOplane of isometric text, and enhanced valve dimensioning now will
consistently dimension to the flange face automatically placing the gasket
tick on the appropriate side of the dimension for the user, the ORTHO
module has an enhanced 3D command that is now an ADS function.
