Enhanced CU-SeeMe to be compatible with Microsoft's NetMeeting

NASHUA, NEW HAMPSHIRE, USA - (May 28, 1996) - White Pine Software, Inc.
today announced additional plans to expand the interoperability and
functionality of Enhanced CU-SeeMe videoconferencing technology. Already
committed to implementing standards-based functionality such as T.120 and
H.323 into upcoming releases of Enhanced CU-SeeMe client/server
architecture, White Pine will also provide interoperability to Microsoft's
recently announced NetMeeting communications and collaboration software.

Enhanced CU-SeeMe and the White Pine Reflector, a client/server technology,
has quickly grown to be the leading desktop videoconferencing technology
for the Internet. Enhanced CU-SeeMe provides person-to-person
conferencing, group conferencing and live broadcasting ("cybercasting")
using TCP/IP over POTS, ISDN, LAN and the Internet. The adoption of
industry standards and increased interoperability will further deliver
CU-SeeMe into the corporate Intranet.
