VIDEOLABS TO BUNDLE ENHANCED CU-SEEME WITH FLEXCAM CAMERA

VideoLabs to include Enhanced CU-SeeMe in videoconferencing package
solution

Minn. -- (May 22, 1996) -- VideoLabs, Inc. (NASDAQ Small Cap Markets;
symbol VLAB), announced today an agreement with White Pine Software, Inc.
to market and sell their Enhanced CU-SeeMe desktop videoconferencing
software.

CU-SeeMe is the most recognized desktop videoconferencing software over the
Internet, especially among users with low-bandwidth requirements. Enhanced
CU-SeeMe provides person-to-person conferencing, group conferencing and
"cybercasting" (live broadcasting) capabilities all in full color over the
Internet or any TCP/IP network.

Carl Koppel, vice president of Sales for White Pine, states, "It is
estimated CU-SeeMe has the largest installed user-base of any Internet
videoconferencing software. Users are always looking for complete packaged
solutions to simplify installation and to ensure all components are
compatible, so we are pleased VideoLabs will be including Enhanced
CU-SeeMe for Windows as part of their videoconferencing package
solution."

Earlier this year, VideoLabs announced its intention to move aggressively
in order to capitalize on new videoconferencing opportunities created by
the Internet and by the introduction of Microsoft's Windows 95 operating
system. Ward Johnson, president of VideoLabs, stated this alliance is part
of the program. "Recognition of Enhanced CU- SeeMe in the Internet and
desktop videoconferencing marketplace is immense. The Enhanced CU-SeeMe
product complements our capabilities perfectly."

A"bundled" package providing a complete desktop videoconferencing solution,
consists of Enhanced CU-SeeMe for Windows and a VideoLabs FlexCam full
motion color video camera, with their new "Stinger" video capture and
overlay board. VideoLabs will introduce an aggressively priced solution on
June 3 at Spring Comdex in Chicago.

VideoLabs, Inc. was founded in 1992 and has been publicly traded since May
1994. Its 1995 sales were $8.1 Million, up from $5.6 Million in 1994 and
$2.1 Million in 1993, its first year of operations. It currently provides
products for general videoconferencing and adapted products for education,
science, security and manufacturing.
