UNISYS UNVEILS PENTIUM AND PENTIUM PRO SERVERS, DESKTOPS AND PORTABLES

ALL NEW PC PRODUCTS ARE PART OF AQUANTA FAMILY

NEW YORK, NY - MAY 13, 1996 -- Unisys Personal Computer Division (PCD)
today announced Pentium and Pentium Pro based computers for their desktop,
server and portable line under the new product family name, Aquanta. These
new products bring to market more power and performance, greater storage
capacity, and expanded resilience across a wide range of operating
systems. The Aquanta line will begin shipping in May '96.

"The market continues to demand PC products that can be easily integrated
into existing systems but that feature the latest technological advances
available", said Vaughn G. Hysinger, a managing director of the Personal
Computer Division and vice president of marketing operations. "These first
installments to the newly created Aquanta family answer those market
demands and future additions will continue to deliver on the Unisys
promise of building PC products to customer specifications."

The new Aquanta server and desktop products are designed for ease of
deployment in existing (legacy) client/server environments. The single and
multi-processor products are qualified for virtually all popular PC and
LAN operating systems currently available: single and multiprocessor
version of Microsoft Windows NT Server, Windows 95, the SCO UNIX
OpenServer family of products, Novell NetWare and NetWare SMP, and IBM
OS/2 WARP Connect Server.

All models can be configured to meet individual customer requirements
through the Unisys Build-to-Customer-Order program (see 5/13 Unisys
Aquanta press release for further information).

AQUANTA SERVERS

Aquanta Intel-processor-based PC LAN servers deliver an outstanding mix of
processor scalability, flexible storage capacity, peripheral expansion and
optional fault resiliency in single, dual, and quad- processors in tower
and rackmount configurations.

The following new servers were announced today as part of the Aquanta
family:

AQUANTA ES MID-TOWER SERVER: This dual processor server offers Pentium and
Pentium Pro processors with speeds up to 200MHz and both an EISA bus and a
PCI bus. An on-board ultra-wide SCSI interfaces to the PCI local bus to
maximize the performance of SCSI-2 peripherals. The ES is aimed at LAN
applications with 25 or more users. Price: Suggested street price starts
at U.S.$3,990.

AQUANTA DS FULL-TOWER SERVER: The dual-processor DS has up to two 166MHz
Pentium processors with 512K cache and up to two 200MHz Pentium Pro
processors with 256K or 512K cache. Designed from the ground up as a
server, the DS has eight total drive bays, nine PCI slots and up to 1GB
ECC RAM. Multiple cooling fans minimize heat buildup, the leading cause of
downtime. The EISA bus-based DS is meant for high performance applications
where flexible capacity is needed for rapid expansion as transaction
processing workloads increase. Price: Suggested street price starts at
U.S.$8,800.

AQUANTA QS DOUBLE-WIDE TOWER SERVER: Also designed as a server is the
Aquanta QS. This double-wide tower server has dual power supplies, 13
front-accessible drive bays, 10 PCI slots and a memory capacity of up to
1GB. More importantly, the Aquanta QS supports up to 4 Pentium, up to
166MHz, or Pentium Pro processors up to 200MHz for the ultimate in server
performance for very large LAN configurations. The QS features a high
performance EISA bus plus a PCI bus for added performance with optional
RAID fault-resilience. Price: Suggested street price starts at $8,900.

AQUANTA DR AND QR RACKMOUNT SYSTEM SERVERS: Available in both dual and quad
processor configurations, rackmount servers feature Pentium or Pentium Pro
processors up to 200 MHz for high capacity LANs. True drawer-type design
provides easy access to peripherals including hot-pluggable RAID disk
drives. These servers have all the LAN functionality of the QS tower units
plus the convenience and security of a single configuration with
centralized control. The Aquanta QR features up to four Pentium or Pentium
Pro CPUs and the new Aquanta DR offers up to two Pentium or Pentium Pro
processors. Pentium drawers feature speeds up to 166MHz and Pentium Pro
drawers offer speeds up to 200MHz. Price: Suggested street price starts at
U.S.$11,900.

AQUANTA EC RAID CABINET : The optional EC cabinet gives Aquanta servers
RAID levels 0, 1, or 5 support and adds 4-28 GB of fault-tolerant network
data storage. Designed for a standard 19-inch rack, the EC is expandable
from three to eight 2GB or 4GB disk drives and provides high performance
with a FAST/WIDE SCI-2 interface and transfer rates up to 20MB/sec. Price:
Suggested street price starts at U.S.$1,900.

AQUANTA DESKTOPS

The desktop systems feature a compact 1-slot system, a 3-slot entry-level
system, a 5-slot mid-range unit, a mini-tower form factor. All the units
have been designed to be environmentally safe from both a content
perspective and that of recycling. For example, all units, including
servers, are 100% free of CFCs, paints are water-based, cartons are
recyclable and other measures are taken to safeguard the environment. The
Aquanta desktop family includes:

AQUANTA SC COMPACT SYSTEM: The entry point for the Aquanta desktop lineup,
is the Aquanta SC. This highly compact system, no bigger than its notebook
sibling, is ideal for customers who have to deploy intelligent PCs where
geography is tight. Banking, airline and other customer service oriented
customers have found the Aquanta SC to be an ideal choice. The Aquanta SC
features 75-133MHz Pentium power and is highly secure because the floppy
drive is an option. Price: Suggested street price starts at U.S.$1,200.

AQUANTA DL ENTRY-LEVEL DESKTOP SYSTEM: The Aquanta DL is a 3-slot entry
level full desktop system. With built-in super VGA graphics and PCI bus
added to Pentium performance up to 166MHz, the Aquanta DL provides the
features needed in a client system at extremely attractive price points.
Price: Suggested street price starts at U.S.$1,200.

AQUANTA DX MID-RANGE DESKTOP: Aimed at large organizations with medium
workloads, the DX provides capabilities not usually found in systems with
a small form factor, slim line chassis. Users can choose 100, 133, 150 or
166MHz Pentium processors (and faster when available). Optional multimedia
features include 16 bit full duplex audio that permits playback of full
screen MPEG files. Other key features include TAPI software (telephony)
and a Universal Serial Bus (USB) high speed peripheral interface. The USB
makes possible a wider range of peripheral choices than is available with
competitive mid-range desktop systems. Price: Suggested street price
starts at U.S.$1,972.

AQUANTA DM MINI-TOWER SYSTEM: The DM delivers the same performance and
specifications as the Aquanta DX but in a mini-tower configuration.
Special features include state-of-the-art PCI bus architecture and
enhanced expandability via seven slots and six available disk drive bays.
Price: Suggested street price starts at U.S.$2,198.

generation Pentium Pro chipset, the DM/6 supports Pentium Pro processors
up to 200MHz and features a 256KB or 512KB L2 cache. Offering all of the
capabilities of the DX and DM models, the DM/6 also includes high speed
EDO memory as well as optional ECC memory support. The DM/6 is targeted at
high end business and technical markets and is especially suited for the
growing number of 32-bit applications. Price: Suggested street price
starts at U.S.$5,414.
