Traveling Software Acquires Milktruck LLC - Offline Web Access Innovator

Offline technology extends Universal Mobile Access for on-the-go computing
professionals, providing customized access to both the Internet and
company Intranets

SAN JOSE, CA - SPRING INTERNETWORLD, April 30, 1996 - Traveling Software
Inc., a leading manufacturer of remote network access software, announced
today the acquisition of Milktruck LLC, an Internet software development
firm in San Mateo, CA, specializing in offline web access technology.

The purchase of MiLktruck, makers of the popular Milktruck Delivery_,
broadens Traveling Software's vision of providing Universal Mobile Access
to mobile professionals, by providing them with flexible access to
Internet and Intranet information.

"This acquisition fits in perfectly with Traveling Software's business
focus, which has always been to improve and deliver mobility to computing
professionals who need to work in and away from the office," said Mark
Eppley, CEO and chairman of Traveling Software. "Slow Web connections and
dependency upon a fixed location for Web access are constant barriers to
the mobile professional. Taking the Web with you is finally a reality
because it's easy to customize our new technology to automatically seek
and retrieve specific sites and control the depth of information you
download."

"Clearly there is a need in the market to extend the Internet to the mobile
professional and disconnected user," said Mike Rothman, vice president of
Global Networking Strategies for the META Group, a leading industry
research firm. "With the acquisition of Milktruck, Traveling Software
continues to add value at the client side of the equation."

Offline Web Access

This new offline Web access technology integrates with the leading Internet
browsers so the user does not have to learn a new interface or switch back
and forth between programs. The Web experience is completely maintained
when viewing pages offline from a hard drive, complete with links,
graphics, video, sound, Shockwave files and even Java applets. Corporate
users also now have an efficient way to schedule and retrieve new
information from their company Intranets, eliminating wasted time.

"My team is thrilled to join Traveling Software because the company shares
our vision of making information access fast, easy and convenient for
mobile professionals," said You Mon Tsang, former CEO of Milktruck. Tsang
along with Daniel Gartung, former Milktruck President and CTO, now lead
Traveling Software's effort in offline Web access. "The only real
difference in cruising with our offline software is that you aren't
frustrated with long load times and the excitement of the online
experience is not compromised," said Tsang.

The Milktruck Delivery technology supports PCs running Windows 95 and
Windows NT(D and is currently available in beta form by accessing
Traveling's home page (http://www.travsoft.com/) or Milktruck's home page
