SOFTBANK EXPOS ACQUIRES WEBINNOVATION

1996 EVENT DATES AND VENUE ANNOUNCED

FOSTER CITY, CA (MAY 16, 1996)- SOFTBANK Exposition and Conference Company
today announced the signing of a definitive agreement with Interactive
Marketing Communications (IMC), an Interactive Marketing, Inc. company,
for WebINNOVATION, the leading educational conference for professional Web
content creators and application developers. WebINNOVATION is designed to
provide a leading interactive forum to educate and demonstrate Web content
and development applications to the Web and Internet development
communities, and to inspire Web professionals to take advantage of the
best development tools available to create the most compelling Web content
possible. The conference is focused on a target market of Internet
developers, Web developers, content developers and Webmasters. The 1996
WebINNOVATION conference and exposition will be held October 28-30 at the
San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, CA and is expected to draw over
2,000 conference attendees and over 50 exhibiting vendors.

"SOFTBANK Expos is very excited to add WebINNOVATION to our existing
line-up of Internet-focused technology events," said William Lohse,
President of SOFTBANK Expos. "WebINNOVATION allows us to further extend
our commitment to provide quality interactive education -- both at our
conference events and year-round through our virtual community -- by
bringing industry innovators and vendors of cutting- edge technologies
together under one roof."

"WebINNOVATION is a vendor-neutral forum that embraces leading Internet
innovations across multiple vendors, allowing developers that attend to
build Internet solutions from the best tools, techniques and technologies
from across the marketplace," said John Herr, Vice President of Internet
Business Development. "Developers want a third-party, neutral environment
where they can get the latest information to make well-informed decisions.
Now that SOFTBANK Expos is producing WebINNOVATION, we will use our
resources and strong Internet focus to expand the conference to meet the
needs of the exploding Web industry."

"As a sponsor of the first WebINNOVATION, we are excited to continue our
involvement now that WebINNOVATION is part of the SOFTBANK family," said
Maria Cantwell, Vice President of Marketing, Progressive Networks.
"WebINNOVATION is fast becoming the leading interactive forum for Internet
application developers such as Progressive Networks."

"In 1995, WebINNOVATION set the standard for creating an educational and
interactive forum for technology vendors, industry leaders, and developers
of Internet solutions," said Zack Rinat, CEO of Spider Technologies, a
past exhibitor. "The vendor showcase and hands-on labs were excellent
forums for us to build customer relationships with our target market,
developers of Web&#47database applications. The virtual show was also an
excellent illustration of how companies can leverage the Web to enhance
current business practices, which is what our technology is all about."

The 1996 conference will feature three days of focused conference tracks
presented by leading experts and covering topics such as -- Database
Integration, High Traffic Web Surfing, Integrating Web Tools, Java
Applications -- Development, Security Technology, VRML, Website
Configuration, Web Management, Web Page Content Publishing and
Development, and Web Video -- Sound Applications.

"The WebINNOVATION conference solves a unique educational need," said Gary
Millrood, General Manager of SOFTBANK's Internet Business Development. "It
educates Web developers, who are the people responsible for molding Web
tools and technologies into value-added solutions for corporations. The
conference provides the opportunity to learn about key technologies --
where they are now and where they are going, products and tools to make
developers' jobs easier and users' experience more engaging, as well as
how to use existing tools, infrastructure and resources."

In addition to the conference, WebINNOVATION will feature "Interactive
Forums" including the WebINNOVATION Virtual Tradeshow, Presentation
Theaters, Cyber Cafe, Demonstration Pavilion and the WebAwards.

The WebINNOVATION Virtual Tradeshow, which will run before, during and
after the WebINNOVATION conference, is the most progressive virtual
tradeshow in the Web market with "state of the art" real audio, video and
VRML technology. It will present the latest information about the content
of the conference, valuable information about the event vendors and the
latest products being demonstrated, and will allow conference and virtual
attendees to have an opportunity to interact during the event with
conference speakers in the chat room. Attendees can download applications,
purchase products online and hotlink to vendors demonstrating at
WebINNOVATION. Look for the WebINNOVATION Web site to be up in June at
