GLOBAL INTERNET SIMULCAST PLANNED

Dallas, TX (May 14, 1996) -- 7th Level Inc. (NASDAQ: SEVL) plans a major
kick-off for the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles with a
spectacular Great Detectives theme bash. In addition, the company plans
the unveiling of a recent 7th Level discovery, one of the most sought
after artifacts in human history, The Holy Grail - if authentication has
been completed by then. The momentous proceedings are to be simulcast live
on the Internet, Thursday, May 16th at 8 PM (PST). Legions of Grail fans
and curious web surfers can witness all the pomp and circumstance of the
party and the unveiling on www.7thlevel.com., 7th Level's quirky web
sight.

Eric Idle, one of the original cast members of Monty Python and the Holy
Grail will be in attendance on Thursday night. "I've waited all my life
for this moment, I just hope I'm not in the loo when it happens!" said
Idle.

According to the legend, King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table
struck off on an arduous but fruitless quest for the Holy Grail early in
the middle ages. Since then, countless others have joined in the search
for the illusive icon and none have been successful...until now.

During the making of Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail, teams
of researchers were dispatched to the corners of England to comb the
countryside for accurate historical data to be used in the CD-ROM game (to
be in stores early July). In the process, they uncovered three pretenders
to the throne, fourteen claims of immaculate conception, an old scrivener
named Murray, the entire village of Bognor Regis and Terry Gilliam's
shrubber who was chained up in Gilliam's back garden holding an ancient
box. On lifting the lid, the research team was struck dumb with
excitement. The Holy Grail had finally been found!

"The search for the Holy Grail has mystified people from all over the
world," quotes 7th Level Executive V.P. and vibemaster, Scott Page. "In
planning its debut, we knew it had to be a global affair. Through the
Internet, people everywhere will be able to watch this unrivaled event."

7th Level's preparations for this unparalleled night will include some
truly stellar talent and technology. Ken Rutkowski, of "Tech Talk" global
radio talk show fame, will act as host for the Internet party coverage.
Interviews with attending celebs, press and 7th Level executives will be
broadcast live on www.7thlevel.com and www.HappyPuppy. Coverage will
continue throughout the evening and will employ Xing Technologies'
StreamWorks, its live, on-demand, real-time Internet broadcast software.
Four roaming cameras will act as the eyes and ears of the Internet for
home participants online.

Avoid busy Internet traffic and download the StreamWorks client today! At
the 7th Level and Happy Puppy sites click on the party icon, and
instructions will follow.
