PROCESS SOFTWARE CORPORATION UNVEILS SUITE OF INTRANET APPLICATION TOOLS
FOR CORPORATE END-USERS AND PROFESSIONAL SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS

Purveyor IntraServer for Windows NT Empowers End-Users to Automatically and
Instantly Migrate Existing Desktop Content to the Corporate Intranet

The Purveyor IntraKit Offers Intranet Application Development Tools to
Corporate Programmers and Independent Software Vendors

FRAMINGHAM, MA, APRIL 29, 1996 -- Recognizing a market need for useful
tools that speed the development and deployment of Web technologies on
corporate networks, Process Software Corporation today unveiled a suite of
intranet development tools. The portfolio of Web-based products,
consisting of Process Software's award-winning Purveyor Web server and an
application development kit, will enable both end-users and technology
developers to migrate key files and databases from the existing PC-LAN to
a robust, easy-to-use environment for intranet data publishing and
collaboration.

"The new products in the Purveyor application suite were designed
specifically to facilitate intranet development in distributed,
heterogeneous PC-LAN environments -- where the daily work is done," said
Dave Rosenlund, vice president of product marketing and strategy at
Process Software. "While many of our competitors focus on retrofitting
complex, enterprise-level legacy applications with Web technology,
Process' Web-centric model *starts* with user-friendly, effective
applications that work smoothly with existing end-user computing
practices."

THE PURVEYOR INTRASERVER FOR WINDOWS NT:

"The Purveyor IntraServer fulfills the ideal of the corporate intranet,"
said Rosenlund. "With the click of a mouse, end-users can automatically
post and share information on the enterprise network, rapidly creating an
environment for employee collaboration that uses the most timely data."
Rosenlund added that the IntraServer's user-friendly features will enable
IS staffers to yield time-consuming intranet content management tasks to
the company's policy makers and personnel.

According to a Zona Research (Redwood City, CA) study, information
publishing is the top application for intranet computing. Policy manuals,
product and pricing lists, and employee homepages are among the most
prevalent postings on Web-based networks. "The most popular information on
the intranet is created by employees, for employees," said Rosenlund.
"With the Purveyor IntraServer, end-users will have the necessary tools to
automate intranet content management."

The Purveyor IntraServer for Windows NT leverages the power of the Purveyor
WebServer, and adds new encryption features and user-friendly intranet
applications. Combining InfoAccess, Inc.'s HTML Transit with Nomad
Development Corporation's database connectivity software, WebDBC, the
Purveyor IntraServer provides desktop users with a "point-and-click"
migration path to the intranet, by overlaying their existing word
processor files with Web technologies and making them accessible to the
networked organization.

HTML Transit is an HTML production tool for intranet users, automatically
converting and reformatting word processor documents into hypertext-linked
Web pages. HTML Transit utilizes reusable templates that provide users
with full control over formatting, backgrounds, images, and hypertext
links. A single file or an entire collection of documents may be
translated simultaneously -- all hyperlinked via a common intranet index
that serves information to the workgroup or enterprise.

Nomad's WebDBC product enhances the Purveyor IntraServer with Web-based
"wizards" that allow users to create Web page interfaces to database
systems, without knowing any HTML or WebDBC commands. These interfaces can
be built in minutes, and later customized to meet specific functional and
graphical requirements. Additionally, the Connection Manager utility of
WebDBC caches and re-uses database connections, allowing users to monitor
and control the number of database connections kept open, ensuring optimal
network performance based on site traffic.

Additionally, the Purveyor IntraServer includes Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
security features, which, combined with Purveyor's existing proxy
services, create an intranet platform with customizable security measures
that seal information within the corporation, accessible only to
authorized users.

"While our competitors focus on back-end systems issues for the intranet,
Process is filling Corporate America's need for a client-focused, secure
route to intranet development," said Rosenlund. "The Purveyor IntraServer
will empower corporate employees to work with MIS to publish existing data
resources on the intranet, link this content to related information on the
company database, and make it accessible to their peers."

Starting in May 1996, a version of the Purveyor IntraServer for Windows NT
will be available for purchase without the WebDBC module, at a U.S. list
price of $1,095. The Purveyor IntraServer Plus, bundled with the Nomad
product, will also be available in May for $1,395 (U.S. list). A NetWare
version is planned for August 1996.

THE PURVEYOR INTRAKIT:

The Purveyor IntraKit is a new software development kit (SDK) aimed at
Original Equipment Manufacturers, Independent Software Vendors,
Value-Added Resellers and corporate programmers charged with deploying Web
technologies on corporate networks. The SDK includes:

* A Purveyor Web Enabling License, providing legal rights to those
portions of the Purveyor software code that can Web-enable standard
  PC applications
* Execute files and documentation for bundling Purveyor with the
programmers' application media ("how to" tools and source
  code)
* An ISAPI development kit and installation guides, including a
listing of on-line development programs and related resources
* A supply of Purveyor licenses
* A Purveyor demonstration package, and,
* An unlimited number of user evaluation licenses.

"The Purveyor IntraKit provides professional programmers with easy access
to the white-hot Web applications market," said Rosenlund. "Process
Software is providing the necessary tools to quickly and effectively
'Web-enable' a company's existing applications, across the PC-LAN
environment."

Pricing for the Purveyor IntraKit, which is available immediately, is
dependent on customers' required number of Purveyor licenses.
