NVIDIA AND VIRGIN INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT TEAM UP TO DELIVER TITLES

Virgin Interactive joins the growing list of leading software developers
endorsing NVIDIA's NV1 acceleration architecture.

SUNNYVALE, Calif., -- May 6, 1996 -- Virgin Interactive Entertainment
announced today that its upcoming game The Show: Professional Baseball has
been designed to support NVIDIA's NV1 single-chip multimedia accelerator
for Microsoft" Windows" 95. The highly interactive nature of the game is
ideally suited for leveraging the concurrent acceleration architecture of
the NVIDIA product line.

The Show: Professional Baseball captures the essence of professional
baseball by recreating realistic game play in a state-of-the-art 3D
environment. The game creates a new standard of artificial intelligence by
using high production quality audio and graphics which collectively
deliver users maximum control as well as a more immersive game experience.
As a PC title, players will find exceptional graphics, game play and
control in each of its heart-pounding levels. "The Show" is a refreshing
new genre of 3D PC sports software that players will be impressed with the
graphics and compelling game play.

The NV1 is a fully-integrated solution which combines the key components of
multimedia in a single-chip architecture. Through this integration the NV1
offers real-time, fully-textured 3D graphics, 2D graphics acceleration,
advanced audio, full-motion video acceleration and a digital input
joystick engine. This single-chip technology has been designed to support,
enhance and concurrently accelerate standards such as Microsoft's DirectX`
application programming interfaces (APIs) including DirectDraw`,
DirectVideo`, DirectSound`, DirectInput` and Direct3D`. The result is an
immediate and across-the-board enhancement of Windows" 95 content. NV1
products from Diamond Multimedia Systems, Inc., Jazz Multimedia Inc.,
Leadtek Research Inc., and others will soon ship with a complete suite of
DirectX drivers.
