NVIDIA and Gremlin Interactive Join Forces to Bring COMPELLING Action

Gremlin Interactive joins an elite team of developers supporting NVIDIA's
NV1 Multimedia Accelerator

SUNNYVALE, Calif., --- May 6, 1996 --- NVIDIA Corporation, a leading
developer and supplier of high performance multimedia accelerators, today
unveiled that Gremlin Interactive Ltd., an industry-leading software game
developer, plans to support its popular NV1 multimedia accelerator family.
Gremlin joins an strong group of developers including Sega, Sony
Interactive, Activision, Papyrus, Electronic Arts, Psygnosis, Virgin
Interactive, Playmates Interactive, Domark and Interplay which currently
support the NV1 accelerator.

Gremlin Interactive's most recent hit titles include Slipstream 5000, Actua
Soccer, and Fatal Racing. Together the two companies will develop core
technology that will leverage Gremlin's True 3D environment and NV1's
powerful rendering pipeline and special effects, resulting in a stream of
titles that will be "Powered by NVIDIA."

The NV1 is a fully-integrated solution which combines the key components of
multimedia in a single-chip architecture. Through this integration the NV1
offers real-time, fully-textured 3D graphics, 2D graphics acceleration,
advanced audio, full-motion video acceleration and a digital input
joystick engine. This single-chip technology has been designed to support,
enhance and concurrently accelerate standards such as Microsoft's DirectX`
application programming interfaces (APIs) including DirectDraw`,
DirectVideo`, DirectSound`, DirectInput` and Direct3D`. The result is an
immediate and across-the-board enhancement of Windows" 95 content. NV1
products from Diamond Multimedia Systems, Inc., Jazz Multimedia Inc.,
Leadtek Research Inc., and others will soon ship with a complete suite of
DirectX drivers.
