NVIDIA `ACCELERATES' LATEST RELEASE OF PREMIER SEGA ARCADE CONTENT FOR THE
CONSUMER PC

Sega Entertainment, Inc. delivers stunning 3D title optimized for the
NVIDIA NV1 chip

SUNNYVALE, Calif., --- May 6, 1996 --- NVIDIA today announced the
availability of another top arcade title from Sega optimized for
multimedia boards based on the NVIDIA NV1 chip. Daytona USA, the premier
arcade driving title, is now available for consumer multimedia PCs powered
by NVIDIA. This marquee title enhances the growing list of
NVIDIA-accelerated next-generation Sega titles, and further establishes
NVIDIA as the leading accelerator of PC consumer interactive
entertainment.

"NVIDIA's concurrent hardware acceleration meshes perfectly with the high
performance requirements of this new Sega title. The advanced audio, 2D
graphics, 3D graphics and gameplay content are accelerated directly by the
integrated hardware engines inside the NV1 chip. We believe our customers
will be very excited with the results," said Rob Csongor, director of
marketing for NVIDIA Corporation.

"Daytona USA is the latest in a long list of arcade titles that Sega
Entertainment intends to bring to the consumer PC marketplace. Our goal is
to provide the quality and performance in PC games that customers have
grown to expect from Sega. Our partnership with NVIDIA enables us to
deliver that experience," stated Bill White, senior vice president and
general manager of Sega Entertainment.

Daytona USA is one of Sega's top driving titles for both the arcade and the
Saturn. Realistic stock car control with drafting, controlled braking,
4-wheel drifts and skillful acceleration combined with punishing end over
crashes make it one of the hottest driving titles on the market today.

The NV1 is a fully-integrated solution which combines the key components of
multimedia in a single-chip architecture. Through this integration the NV1
offers real-time, fully-textured 3D graphics, 2D graphics acceleration,
advanced audio, full-motion video acceleration and a digital input
joystick engine. This single-chip technology has been designed to support,
enhance and concurrently accelerate standards such as Microsoft's DirectX`
application programming interfaces (APIs) including DirectDraw`,
DirectVideo`, DirectSound`, DirectInput` and Direct3D`. The result is an
immediate and across-the-board enhancement of Windows" 95 content. NV1

Leadtek Research Inc., and others will soon ship with a complete suite of
DirectX drivers.
