MICROSOFT FRONTPAGE 1.1 PROVIDES AT&T EASY WORLD WIDE WEB SERVICES

REDMOND, WASH. - APRIL 29, 1996 - Making it easier for a wide range of
users to publish and host professional-looking Web sites on the Internet,
Microsoft Corp. today announced that AT&T Corp. will include Microsoft
FrontPage version 1.1, the latest version of Microsoft's industry-leading
Web authoring and management tool, with AT&T Easy World Wide Web Services
(EW3), one of the industry's most aggressive end-to-end Web hosting offers
for business. This will be the first Web authoring and management tool
offered as part of AT&T EW3. Customers will also receive training for
Microsoft FrontPage and 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week Internet presence
supported by AT&T's renowned network services.

"Our goal with FrontPage is to bring the power of Web publishing to the
broadest range of PC users," said Richard Fade, vice president of the
desktop applications division at Microsoft. "With this agreement, AT&T and
Microsoft bring together the services and tools needed for customers to
build professional-looking Web sites quickly, easily and inexpensively."

During the first three weeks of availability, more than 175,000 users (one
every ten seconds) downloaded the no-charge beta version of Microsoft
FrontPage 1.1, demonstrating widespread customer demand. In addition,
FrontPage has garnered numerous industry awards, most recently the
Editor's Choice award from Computer Reseller News.
