Mecklermedia's Spring Internet World '96 A Great Success; 1997 Already 50%
Larger In Exhibition Space Than 1996 Show

that today Spring Internet World '96 concluded Friday in San Jose,
California was a resounding success for both exhibitors and attendees.
Highlights included a keynote addresses from Larry Ellison (chairman and
CEO of Oracle), Bill Gates (chairman and CEO of Microsoft), Richard
Hronicek (president of Pacific Bell Internet Services), Steve Jobs
(chairman of NeXT), Bill Joy (founder and vice- president of research at
Sun Microsystems), Philippe Kahn (chairman of Starfish Software), and Tim
Krauskopf (co-founder and vice president of research at Spyglass) and
Steve Markman (vice president of Novell), 358 exhibiting companies, and a
quality business-to-business audience up 43% over last year.
