the future of traditional media, will be the topics at Jupiter

Headlining a list of more than 50 international multimedia luminaries will
be a number of executives with direct responsibilities for their
respective companies' Internet strategies.

Currently, the consumer online services, Internet access providers, Web

international strategies. Millions of dollars are being bandied about as
companies look to grab their share of this growing digital market. Jupiter
Communications' Global Internet Summit '96, scheduled for June 4-6 at the
Le Meridien Montparnasse hotel in Paris, France, will bring together
leaders from around the world in all major sectors of interactivity to
discuss the European and North American markets as they exist now, and the
outlook for the future.

We want to examine how closely European markets will follow the U.S.
patterns of the past eighteen months, said Jupiter vice president Adam
Schoenfeld. Certain U.S. lessons may resonate strongly in Europe and Asia,
others may not apply at all.

The GLOBAL INTERNET SUMMIT '96 will include:

 * A focus on consumer applications
 * Examination of entry strategies of global, diversified
   media/content powers

from minitel to CD-ROM to Internet Online Services)
 * Debate on proprietary models vs. Web/Internet models
for both access and content players
