IMAP4, HTTP and other Internet standards. N-PLEX options include Internet
directory services, X.400 MTA, gateway and message store, accounting and

scalable, multi-threaded Windows NT/Intel architecture, providing
high-performance.

EMA'96, the Electronic Messaging Association's (EMA) Annual Conference, is
the industry's premier event and only corporate user-focused forum. The
Messaging Product Excellence Awards honor outstanding contributions to the
advancement of technology by recognizing the industry's best messaging
products.

Nearly 3,000 conference attendees cast their ballots at EMA'96, choosing
from among products showcased by companies such as Symantec/Delrina,
Digital Equipment Corp., Microsoft Corporation, Lotus Development
Corporation, Sprint, CompuServe and Novell, Inc., to pick the Excellence
Award winners.

In addition to the Product Excellence Award for N-PLEX, the ISOCOR booth
was awarded the "Best Exhibit Award" by the conference attendees. The
exhibit featured N-PLEX speed demos and attracted attendees with a flashy
red Ferrari and the chance to win the car for a weekend getaway. EMA
attendees were given the opportunity to guess how many messages per second
N-PLEX can switch on multi-processor computer hardware provided by Compaq.
The attendee who came closest to guessing the correct number won a Ferrari
Getaway. The Compaq system, running ISOCOR's scalable N-PLEX server
software, produced a sustained message transfer rate of 221 messages per
second. Les Fritts of Los Angeles won the N-PLEX Ferrari Getaway by
correctly guessing that N-PLEX can relay 221 SMTP messages per second.

"We're delighted that N-PLEX was voted "Best Internet Product" by the EMA
conference attendees." said William Wolfe, Vice President of Business
Development and Marketing at ISOCOR. "N-PLEX offers customers a
comprehensive backbone software solution for implementing corporate
Intranets and connecting to the Internet, offering comprehensive security,
