Imagination Network Releases Software Development Kit (SDK) For Multiplayer
Gaming In Cyber Park

ADVANCED PSEUDO HOST ALLOWS DEVELOPERS TO EMULATE NETWORK MULTIPLAYER GAME
PLAY FROM SINGLE PC

(Burlingame, Calif.) May 3, 1996 - Game developers can now add hours to
their day, and days to their week with the first-of-its-kind Software
Development Kit (SDK) for multiplayer networked game development from the
ImagiNation Network, Inc. (INN), the pioneer in online interactive
entertainment. The SDK allows developers of all game genres to create new
content for INN's new Internet-accessible, 3-D VR community, code-named
Cyber Park.

As part of the ImagiNation Network's SDK, developers receive access to
INN's Pseudo Host, a unique tool which allows developers to simulate a
multiplayer networked environment and test the multiplayer capabilities of
a game from their own, single PC. The Pseudo Host is extremely valuable in
testing a multiplayer game which would otherwise require multiple PCs,
multiple testers, and a connection to the INN facility. It is the only
tool of its kind that enables real-time emulation of networked game play
from a single source. The ImagiNation Network's SDK is a full-featured set
of APIs, documentation, and development tools.

This robust set of tools assists applications programmers in developing
Internet-enabled and multiplayer games for Cyber Park, and offers a guide
for converting existing stand-alone games into networked or multiplayer
games. "We want to make it as easy as possible for a developer to create
great content for our new 3-D environment," says Don Griffin, Sr. Vice
President and Chief Technology Officer for the ImagiNation Network. "With
the network-simulation testing capabilities of our SDK, as well as the
time these tools will save developers, we have succeeded nicely." In
addition to documentation and software, INN offers training classes
tailored to the genre of each game. These training classes cover a
complete description of the INN system, architecture and standards.

Several developers have tested and are utilizing ImagiNation's SDK to
create or modify existing content for Cyber Park. Currently, the
ImagiNation Network is working with PostLinear Entertainment, Top Dog (a
partnership of PostLinear), Media Magic, Catware, Dynamix (a division of
Sierra On-Line), Karen Johnson Productions, Doug Heinlen at Imagination
Pilots, Naima Productions, Gizmo Gypsies, and others.

INN is in active discussions with potential developers for additional
content, and will be holding developer meetings at the upcoming Electronic
Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles. For more information about setting up a
meeting at the show, developers may call (415) 548-2626.

Set to launch in third quarter 1996, Cyber Park will feature a
sophisticated 3-D virtual reality environment with high-resolution
graphics, fully-animated player and non-player characters, rich game and
entertainment content and special online areas that support specific
communities of interest. Cyber Park will operate using advanced Windows 95
features, and will feature three-dimensional animation that lets players
walk through a "virtual city" to reach communities of interest. Cyber Park
will be available through the Internet and commercial ISP's and OSP's.

Founded in 1991, the ImagiNation Network is the first and largest online
service totally dedicated to interactive fun and games. The company is
headquartered in Burlingame, Calif.
