EMD ENTERPRISES AND VISUAL ILLUSIONS FORM AN AGREEMENT TO DISTRIBUTE GLVIEW
- A 3D VIEWER AND INTERNET WWW VRML BROWSER

May 14, 1996 -- EMD Enterprises and Visual Illusions today announced an
agreement that will allow EMD Enterprises to distribute, support and
license GLView, a 3D viewer and Internet Virtual Reality WWW browser
software package designed for Windows 95 and NT systems in the United
States.

This agreement between EMD Enterprises and Visual Illusions will strengthen
the expansion and use of 3D tools and VRML for internet and Intranet
viewing within the United States. "Now that companies like Microsoft and
others have shown greater interest in the Internet and how virtual reality
can be used for business and entertainment purposes, it is evident that
users will demand better performance from their browsers for viewing and
creating virtual reality sites. GLView with its advanced features brings
the virtual world to reality on users current systems", said Enrico
DePaolis president of EMD Enterprises.

Support for popular browsers by GLView makes it easy for anyone to add VRML
viewing capabilities to there system. DDE support for Netscape Navigator
is built into GLView so users can access Virtual Reality sites and
automatically launch GLView with the click of the mouse button. GLView
supports VRML 1.0 and VRML 2.0 highfiled and extrusion nodes. Virtual
Reality based World Wide Web sites that utilize sound can also be viewed
and explored with GLView.

GLView has support for openGL based video systems and can display up to 24
million colors at one time. 3D objects can be rendered, rotated and
morphed in "real-time" to create impressive animations and effects on a
standard Windows 95 or NT workstation. Users can now view 3D scenes in a
way that was only available on expensive workstation platforms in the
past.

Initial versions of GLView consist of an integrated Internet VRML browser,
3D viewer, integrated animation engine, functions for the manipulation of
3D objects, morphing and texturing capabilities. A VRML tree editor makes
it easy for users to view nodes and links within a VRML site and edit them
as needed.

A FREE working demo of GLView is available on the EMD Enterprises WWW site
at: http://www.emdent.com or on CompuServe in the GLView support forum (GO
