THE GREATEST BATTLE IN COMIC BOOK HISTORY COMES HOME IN MARVEL SUPER
HEROES

E3, LOS ANGELES -- May 16, 1996 -- Hold on to your tights, crimefighters!
Your chance to finally go one-on-one at home with the likes of Iron Man,
Spider-Man Captain America or The Incredible Hulk is finally at hand as
Capcom Entertainment today unveils their top-selling arcade title Marvel
Super Heroes for the Sony PlayStation and the Sega Saturn. This one-or-two
player fighting game pits classic Marvel characters against forces of evil
for ultimate control of the Infinity Gauntlet. Marvel Super Heroes is
scheduled to release in the fourth quarter of 1996. It will sell at a
suggested retail price of $65.95.

"Working with characters from the Marvel Universe can be quite a daunting
task," says Greg Ballard, president of Capcom Entertainment. "Some of
their characters have been around for more than thirty years, so there's a
lot of history and expectations to live up to. Capcom has easily proved
that we can successfully translate an arcade perfect game to 32-bit
platforms. The arcade version of Marvel Super Heroes has been a tremendous
hit and we expect nothing less from the home versions."

Marvel Super Heroes features ten of the mightiest characters in all of the
Marvel Universe. The heroes, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, Psylocke, Captain
America, Wolverine - and villains - Magneto, Shuma-Gorath, Juggernaut,
Blackheart battle through rounds of competition facing off with the mighty
Dr. Doom and ultimately to square off against Thanos. The winner controls
the Infinity Gauntlet and the reality bending powers it possesses from the
Infinity Gems.

Each character has a wide range of unique moves and throws' such as
Spider-Man's web-swing or Captain America's shield throw. Along with the
regular moves, the player can build up energy in the three-stage special
Infinity Meter, which opens up a host of new options. These include
special Infinity Attacks which inflict massive damage to the opponent when
executed correctly, or Infinity Counters. which permits the player to
counter-attack against on-coming offensives. Collecting and activating the
six Infinity Gems restores life, increases strength, renews energy. and
boosts a character's speed.
