Collaboration Between AT&T and Adobe Will Enhance Customers' Communications
Over the World Wide Web

SAN FRANCISCO, (May 7, 1996)(NYSE: T; Nasdaq:ADBE) -- AT&T and Adobe
Systems Incorporated today announced they have agreed to work together to
provide customers of AT&T WorldNet Service with personal publishing
capabilities on the World Wide Web. Under the agreement, customers of AT&T
WorldNet Service, AT&T's value-added Internet access service that is
making the Internet accessible to all, will combine the capabilities of
Adobe's premier publishing tools with the graphical power and reach of the
World Wide Web to greatly enrich communications by individuals.

"AT&T WorldNet Service has helped take the Internet across the chasm," said
John Warnock, CEO, Adobe Systems Incorporated. "As the Internet becomes a
vital part of the lives of all Americans, AT&T and Adobe working together
can make graphic communication accessible to everyone." The companies said
announcements regarding specific solutions would be made in the second
half of 1996. Under the agreement, AT&T will license and distribute Adobe
products for customers of AT&T WorldNet Service.

"A technical generation ago, Adobe innovation was largely responsible for
the birth of the desktop publishing industry," said Tom Evslin, vice
president of AT&T WorldNet Service. "Today, Adobe is developing tools to
enhance communication on the World Wide Web. Collaboration between AT&T
and Adobe can and will significantly enhance the way individuals,
