ACC AND WEB POWER AUTHORITY ANNOUNCE ALLIANCE TO DELIVER POWERFUL INTRANET
SOLUTION

Santa Barbara, Calif. (April 29, 1996) -- Advanced Computer Communications,
Inc. (ACC), a leading provider of network access solutions for the home,
office, and enterprise, and Web Power Authority, a developer of leading
edge Internet software, today announced an alliance to deliver a powerful
Intranet solution for corporate and non-commercial networks alike. The new
RiverView Delta Intranet Manager introduces a comprehensive software suite
with a browser interface that offers an unparalleled combination of
groupware, bandwidth conservation, and network security, allowing users to
create a secure virtual Internet or "Intranet" while significantly
reducing access costs.

Delta, the latest addition to ACC's RiverView network management family,
complements ACC's sophisticated Bandwidth Optimization technology and
family of internetworking products. "Remote access customers not only need
hardware, they need a complete remote access solution that is cost
effective, easy to use, and reliable," said Bert Whyte, president and CEO
of ACC. "The RiverView Delta is a bundle of integrated applications
designed to address the issues involved in setting up and managing a
remote access or Internet access solution."

The RiverView Delta software suite includes Cache Manager, a proxy agent
that intelligently caches or stores frequently accessed Web pages on a
centralized server. The benefits of this are twofold; to the user it means
exponentially faster access, to the administrator it means dramatically
reduced wide area access costs.

Cache Manager is only one component of the RiverView Delta software suite.
Additionally, RiverView Delta Intranet Manager offers Web Archive, a
groupware application that allows remote and local users to save,
organize, and share Web pages on a centralized archive, generate slide
shows, and execute searches for particular documents, all through a point
and click graphical interface seamlessly integrated into the user's Web
browser. With Web Archive, users can save permanent copies of all Web
objects, including graphics, sound files and motion pictures, easily
refresh files with the latest revisions from the Web, and mark files for
private use. This feature is extremely powerful for any group sharing
information or conducting group research -- from a class of students
working on a joint project to a sales and marketing team sharing
competitive information. Other RiverView Delta Intranet features include
online phone lists, bulletin boards, and the administrator's "Message of
the Day."

Additionally, RiverView Delta Intranet Manager offers robust network
security features. Acting as a "V Chip for the Internet," the Web Shield
application allows administrators to restrict access of particular users
to the Internet, limiting access to only the centralized archive; combined
with Web Archive, this makes for a completely safe virtual Internet. Web
Shield tracks access by individual user not IP address, giving
administrators tighter control over Internet access. Administrators can
also generate usage reports from statistics gathered by Web Shield for
proactive network management and planning.

RiverView Delta also includes a RADIUS server that provides call
authentication and accounting for dial-in users. RADIUS is particularly
attractive to Internet Service Providers (ISPs) or large networks with
multiple remote sites who wish to track usage and access of remote dial-in
users to a central site location. Users are added and reports generated
via a user-friendly browser interface. "Web Power Authority is excited
about combining our innovative 'cache and query' technology with the
RADIUS server protocol," said Larry Green, president of Web Power
Authority. "This combination complements the ACC product line and brings
new levels of performance to the Internet."

RiverView Delta Intranet Manager currently runs on Solaris and IRIX UNIX
operating systems. An NT version will be available immediately following
the initial product release.

RiverView Delta Intranet Manager begins shipping in the third quarter.
