TSI Announces Trading Partner PC/32, First EDI System for Windows 95 and
NT

World's Most Popular EDI Software for Windows Now in 32-Bit Version

Wilton, CT -- April 1, 1996 The first 32-bit application for EDI
translation is announced today by TSI International, the world's leading
supplier of Windows-based EDI software. Trading Partner PC/32 is the first
EDI system designed to take advantage of the native facilities of
Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows NT. It is the latest version of TSI's
popular Trading Partner PC, a product with 86% share of the Windows market
for EDI.

Trading Partner PC/32 is a major step forward in EDI software for the PC in
terms of ease of use, functionality, and power. Many of its features stem
directly from the capabilities inherent in Windows 95. The new system
exploits the look-and-feel characteristics of the Windows 95 interface,
introduces new options for communications and messaging including built-in
access to the Internet, and delivers optimum performance for EDI
translation and management.

TSI's announcement was received enthusiastically by the Microsoft
Corporation. "We applaud TSI's introduction of a 32-bit application for
EDI processing," stated Michael Henderlight, technical evangelist at
Microsoft. "Many of the features of Windows 95 and NT, including the
ability to run applications concurrently, ODBC and OLE compliance, and
expanded support for communications, make them ideal operating
environments for EDI," noted Henderlight.

Ease of use, a strong characteristic of TSI's Trading Partner PC product
line, is further enhanced in Trading Partner PC/32. The system takes
advantage of Windows 95 drag and drop facilities, and makes extensive use
of context-sensitive help. Wizards are provided to simplify system
installation. including the use of dynamic "cue cards" for prompting.
Windows-style documentation is used throughout.

"Our goal is to take ease of use to the next level," noted David Raye, TSI
vice president of operations. 'Windows 95 provides the environment to
allow this to happen. We've also made provisions to bring our Windows 3.1
customers forward whenever they're ready," stated Raye. "Trading Partner
PC/32 is upward compatible with our existing PC product, including all of
the Kits we've built for specific EDI trading programs. Given the enormous
size of our customer base, we made upward compatibility a requirement."

Trading Partner PC/32 breaks new ground in providing a more open
environment for EDI. Point-and-click access is available to the Internet,
Microsoft Network, and Microsoft Exchange allowing an extensive range of
options for message transport and routing. EDI transactions can be sent
and received through secure Internet facilities and Value Added Networks
(VANs). E-mail and fax messages can be transmitted both internally and
externally through a single interface. Finally, the underlying
architecture is fully ODBC- and OLE-compliant, simplifying integration
with other applications.

A built-in interface is also provided to TSI's Mercator, a drag-and-drop
data transformation tool, and a companion product to both Trading Partner
PC and Trading Partner PC/32. Mercator provides any-to-any data mapping
capabilities without the need to write code. Map execution is supported on
over 14 different platforms, including most of the popular PC, midrange,
and mainframe environments.

The ability of Trading Partner PC/32 to support the needs of more advanced
EDI users i of particular interest to third party organizations such as
systems integrators and Value Added Resellers (VARs). Aaron Gurtman,
president of J-Lab Technology in Woodmere, New York, and a TSI VAR, is
very positive about the announcement.

"Our business involves developing PC-based EDI solutions in a world that
seems to be changing almost daily," remarked Gurtman. "As our clients'
requirements become more complex, the tools we use need to keep pace. We
see Trading Partner PC/32 as an important addition to our toolset. It will
not only deliver the horsepower we need, it comes with a host of new
features that will cut the time and expense of building EDI applications.
It looks like TSI has another winner here."

Trading Partner PC/32 is currently in beta test with general availability
scheduled for third quarter 1996. License fees begin at less than $2,000.
