Sundial Systems Provides A Bright Future for Clearlook

March 29, 1996, Seal Beach, CA - Sundial Systems Corporation and Clearlook
Corporation today are pre-announcing their recently concluded agreement
regarding the future of Clearlook, the word processor that unleashes the
power of OS/2.

"It had been our intent to wait with this announcement until we had all of
our ducks in a row," said Randell Flint, President of Sundial Systems.
"But, in light of DeScribe, Inc's, announcement this week that it has
suspended development of its DeScribe Word Processor, we felt it best to
reassure the OS/2 community that there will remain viable alternatives in
the OS/2 word processing market."

The substance of the agreement is that the Clearlook Word Processor has
become a Sundial Systems product -- joining in Sundial's long-standing
commitment to OS/2 with the Relish product family. All of the publishing,
marketing, and support activities previously handled by Clearlook
Corporation are being transferred to Sundial Systems. "This means that
Clearlook has a bright future with continued development and support
ensured. Sundial has a long-standing reputation of commitment and success
in the OS/2 market," noted Helmut Gassner of Clearlook Corporation.

All existing Clearlook customers are now Sundial Systems customers.
Existing orders and warranty obligations for Clearlook products will be
honored by Sundial.

"Sundial has long been a leader in exploiting the industry's most advanced
technologies that are included in OS/2 Warp," said John Soyring, Vice
President of IBM Personal Software Products. "With Sundial's leadership, I
expect they will bring valuable new features to the OS/2 word processing
market as well."

Sundial Systems has already assumed technical support responsibility for
all English-language versions of Clearlook and the support policies for
Clearlook remain unchanged. This support is currently available by email
(clearlook@ibm.net), phone (310-596-5121), fax (310-598-9851), and, as of
this pre-announcement, via the Sundial Systems section (Section 5) of the
OS2AVEN forum on Compuserve. Other support options are planned for future
availability. "The tradition of quality technical support for all of
Sundial's customers remains unchanged -- whether they are using Relish or
Clearlook. While we are still getting up to speed on the more
sophisticated aspects of Clearlook, and thus might not have all the
answers as quickly as we would like, we have been preparing to support the
Clearlook customer base for some time" said Rollin White of Sundial
Systems.

Sundial Systems will shortly make available a new version of Clearlook
which has been "rebranded" as a Sundial product - "Clearlook from Sundial
Systems." This version (1.7) will replace the version currently available
in the channel and will be the subject of a future announcement.

Work is also progressing on Version 2.0 of Clearlook which is planned for
availability later this year. Over time, Sundial Systems also plans to
integrate portions of its Relish product family with portions of Clearlook
to produce some exciting new products targeted toward specific solutions
to customer needs.

"With this pre-announcement, we'd like to welcome the existing Clearlook
community to the Sundial Systems family. Our commitment to the OS/2 market
started in 1987, continues today, and is accelerating into the future,"
remarked Carla Hanzlik, Vice President of Sundial Systems. "And with
DeScribe's announcement, we hope, over time, to welcome many DeScribe
users into the Clearlook/Sundial family as well."
