COLORIFIC COLOR MATCHING SOFTWARE FOR MONITORS NOW AVAILABLE THROUGH RETAIL
CHANNELS

SAN FRANCISCO, April 2, 1996-Colorific color matching software from
Sonnetech, Ltd., previously available only bundled with monitors from
leading manufacturers, can now be purchased from the company and other
retail sources.

Colorific gives computer users better on-screen color and "no-surprises"
display-to-printer WYSIWYG color matching. Professionals and home users
working with photos, charts, or presentations, for example, are able to
reproduce these images accurately in print. Colorific for Windows 95 also
lets the user adjust the color balance on-screen to optimize for
multimedia, games, video, desktop publishing, and other computing tasks.
Colorific supports Windows 95, Windows 3.1, and Macintosh applications
with all color monitors.

Colorific offers True Internet Color by making a user's computer compatible
with Cosmo Color technology from Silicon Graphics, Inc. When Cosmo Color
is available later this year, Colorific users will get accurate color over
the Internet through Cosmo Color, plus the ability to print color-matched
images. Colorific-compatible Cosmo Color technology won the "Editors Hot
Pick" at Seybold Seminars Boston in February.

Price and Delivery

Colorific is available at a retail price of $49.95. Version 95.1 supports
Windows 95, version 1.5x supports Windows 3.x, and version 2.x supports

their monitors or video cards can upgrade to a current version for $14.95
plus $6.95 shipping and handling. Outside North America, shipping and
handling costs $9.95.

Stream International. and Visage Distribution in Europe.

Gandalf Data Scandanavia, Hitachi, Iiyama, Laser Computer Hong Kong, MAUI,
Magnavox, Mitsubishi, Nanao, NEC, Nissei Sangyo America, Nokia, Optiquest,
Philips, Quato, RasterOps, Sony, and ViewSonic. Since it was introduced in
1994, more than 400,000 copies of Colorific have been shipped in the
United States, Europe, and Asia.

Color Matching Software

Colorific uses a quick, set-and-forget color tuning sequence to measure the
characteristics of each individual monitor. It makes adjustments to
accommodate differences between monitor brands, as well as such variables
as monitor control settings, video card color adjustments, factory
presets, and unit-to-unit variances. The operating system uses this
Colorific-supplied monitor profile to match colors printed to those seen
on-screen. Colorific recreates the color settings automatically each time
the computer is turned on.

Jean-Paul Goyet, president of Laboratory and Digital Solutions, based in
San Diego, Calif., said, "I use Colorific on color brochures. If I don't
use it, my monitor color and the printed color don't match. I really can't
do without it."

On Windows 95 systems, Colorific fills a gap in the color architecture of
Windows 95 that can result in inaccurate screen-to-printer color matching.
Colorific updates the Windows Image Color Matching (ICM) feature with an
accurate monitor profile in the manner required by the Windows color Plug
'n Play configuration sequence.

On Macintosh systems, Colorific works in conjunction with ColorSync 2.0 to
enable all Macintosh applications to provide WYSIWYG color output.
Colorific updates ColorSync's monitor color profile, whether the user has
an Apple-brand monitor or a third-party monitor. Colorific is the first
software to make ColorSync 2.0 compatible with all monitors, not just
those made by Apple.

Sonnetech, Ltd., based in San Francisco, Calif., is an innovator in color
matching and other system software for enhancing computer displays, video
