SHIVA AND INGRAM ANNOUNCE AVAILABILITY OF COMPLETE INTERNET AND INTRANET
SOLUTION

NETWORLD + INTEROP, LAS VEGAS, NEV., APRIL 2, 1996 -- Shiva Corporation and
Ingram Micro, Inc. today announced a complete corporate Internet/Intranet
solution available exclusively through Ingram Micro. WebRover Stack, from
Shiva, provides secure access to public and private networks. Through
Ingram, this solution is further enhanced with Netscape Communications
Server software and a ten-user license pack of the 2.0 version of the
Navigator browser. The Netscape Communications Server software and browser
is available free with WebRover Stack purchases through June 28, 1996.
WebRover Stack is a remote access system that provides corporate sites
with a single solution for extending secure and seamless connectivity
between the corporation, the Internet and remote employees and partners.
Together, WebRover Stack and Netscape's Web Server and browser software
provide Ingram Micro resellers and their customers with a solution for
establishing public and private web services, and providing access to
those services for on-LAN corporate employees, remote employees dialing in
from home or the road, partners, customers and the general public.

Shiva's WebRover Stack combines Shiva's market leading LanRover remote
access server and Integrator router products with an optional security
firewall to provide a complete solution for analog and ISDN dial-in and
dial-out, integrated with dedicated access to the Internet via a leased
line connection.

Netscape Communications Server is high-performance server software that
enables organizations to publish rich hypermedia documents on the
Internet's World Wide Web and on internal TCP/IP networks. Companies use
the Netscape Server to post a variety of information such as product
information, corporate new bulletins and customer support resources on the
Internet and Intranets. The Netscape Navigator browser provides end-users
with an easy-to-use graphical window to all information posted on the
Internet and Intranets.

The WebRover Stack and Netscape Communications Server and browser exclusive
offer will be featured in Ingram Micro's booth 2046 at Networld + Interop
in Las Vegas, April 2-4. The product bundle, WebRover Stack, with Netscape
Communications Server and browser software at no additional charge, will
be available immediately through Ingram Micro through June 28, 1996.
