QUALCOMM Eudora Pro Software Continues Global Expansion with Three Key
International Distribution Agreements

AGREEMENTS IN ITALY, THE NETHERLANDS AND AUSTRALIA STRENGTHEN EUDORA PRO
SOFTWARE'S LEADING POSITION IN THE INTERNET E-MAIL MARKET

SAN DIEGO - April 15, 1996 - QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM), a leader
in wireless communications and advanced electronic messaging solutions for
the Internet, announced today that it has signed distributorship
agreements for Eudora Pro software with Systems Comunicazioni srl of
Italy, Landis BV of The Netherlands, and Lidcam Technology of Australia.
These three distributors are aggressively negotiating contracts with
leading resellers, VARs and retailers.

"These agreements are further evidence that Eudora Pro software is rapidly
expanding its worldwide presence," said Ann Schrader, worldwide sales
manager for QUALCOMM Enterprise Software Technologies (QUEST). "As use of
the Internet grows in the Italian, Dutch and Australian markets, so will
the necessity for a powerful user friendly e-mail application. Eudora Pro
software will fill that need by providing users the features they
require."

Systems Comunicazioni's goal is to establish Eudora Pro software as the
primary electronic mail product in the Italian market by working closely
with the country's largest channel distributors. The company has
agreements with IBM owned distributors, InfoBlueMark and PCD, to offer
Eudora Pro software to all Italian IBM resellers, agents and preferred
business partners in Italy. Systems Comunicazioni is increasing Eudora Pro
software's presence in the retail market by working with leading
distributors such as Ingram Micro, CDC and CELO, and retail chain Computer
Discount.

Micro, the world's largest wholesale distributor of microcomputer
products, and Kuni Research International of Osaka, Japan. The Ingram
Micro agreement has allowed QUALCOMM to expand its presence in major US
retail chains, including: Egghead Software, Comp USA, Best Buys,
MicroCenter and Fry's. Ingram Micro distributes through 70,000 reseller
customers in 120 countries, including Stream International, Software
Spectrum and Softmart. Kuni Research has localized Eudora Pro software for
Macintosh and Windows for the Japanese retail market and also serves as
the master re-publisher for Eudora to distributors such as Softbank
Corporation. Kuni Research is a leading Japanese provider of localization
and development project services.

QUALCOMM will continue to promote Eudora Pro software in distribution
channels to corporate resellers, value-added resellers (VARs), systems
integrators and Internet service providers. In addition, Eudora Pro
software is available through mail order catalogs, such as Mac Warehouse,
Multiple Zones International (MAC Zone and PC Zone) and PC Connection,
Inc. (MAC Connection and PC Connection).
