Internet Communications Vehicle of Choice

IGC TO PROVIDE EUDORA PRO SOFTWARE TO MEMBERS SUCH AS AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL
AND SIERRA CLUB

SAN DIEGO - April 8, 1996 - QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM), a leader
in wireless communications and advanced electronic messaging solutions for
the Internet, announced today that it has licensed Eudora Pro software to
the Institute for Global Communications (IGC). IGC is a non-profit
organization which provides Internet services to its worldwide membership.
IGC's members are internationally recognized organizations such as Amnesty
International and Sierra Club which are dedicated to fighting progressive
causes including human rights and preservation of the environment. The
announcement marks the first agreement for distribution of Eudora Pro
software with a worldwide non-profit organization.

IGC estimates that 60% - 70% of its members will use Eudora Pro software.
All new members will receive Eudora Pro software as part of IGC's Interact
Internet Toolkit which provides e-mail, a web browser, conferencing
