ESTABLISHING BULLETIN BOARD SYSTEMS ON THE INTERNET IS EASIER WITH NEW
PACKAGE

MurkWorks, Inc. and NuIQ Join Forces To Create A Software Package That
Bridges A Technological Gap

New York - April, 1996 - MurkWorks, Inc. and NuIQ Software, Inc. have
announced the release of 'Net BBS, a complete package that enables users
to establish Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) on the Internet quickly and
easily.

"Until now," said Scott Brown, President and CEO of NuIQ, "Bulletin Board
Systems and Web sites have existed in two almost entirely seprate
cyberworlds. Now, with this new package, that gap will be closed. A BBS
can now be put on the Internet and can be accessed just as easily as a web
site."

There are currently more than 10 million world wide web (WWW) sites, where
users can post literature - such as brochures and magazines - in online
form. Bulletin Board Systems provide an alternative to web sites, offering
features such as message conferencing, real-time chat, file management and
exchange services.

MurkWorks is the leading developer of Internet applications for the BBS
industry. NuIQ has been publishing the popular Powerboard BBS software
package since 1991. The package that "marries" the BBS and Internet
industries is a combination of MurkWorks' BBSNet for NetWare(tm) software
and NuIQ's Powerboard BBS software, together with several significant
enhancements.

The two companies believe that the successful introduction of their joint
product will have profound implications for both serious hobbyists and
small business operators. "Internet-accessible BBSes will provide more
interactive and varied content than any World Wide Web site can offer
today," said MurkWorks President Brad Clements.

The new package allows the user to accomplish the same goals that the two
underlying products were able to achieve separately, but it installs much
faster. Because the BBSNet and BBS software have been combined, the user
no longer has to deal with the complicated options and setups that were
previously required in order to link the two technologies. A BBS can now
be connected to the Internet in a half hour or less. Maintenance of a
system based on this software is automatic; little operator intervention
is required.

"Once a system based on 'Net BBS has been set up," said Douglas B. Vermes,
Vice President of Software Development for NuIQ, "people anywhere in the
world can access it. It's as easy as accessing a Web site, which is
accomplished by entering the command 'http://' followed by the name of a
Web site. The only difference is that in order to enter a 'Net BBS site,
the user enters the command 'telnet://' instead. In fact, a 'Net BBS site
can be linked to a Web page so that when a user clicks on a particular
button on a Web site, he or she will be connected automatically to the
'Net BBS site. This means that the two technologies can be linked to
create a site that offers the best of both worlds."

Until now, the majority of Bulletin Boards were primarily local in nature.
"We feel taht the release of 'Net BBS will significantly increase the
number of globally-oriented, Internet-based BBS'es." said Mr. Brown.

In addition to providing services that cannot be accomplished with Web
sites, this software offers direct access to the Internet. With just a
standard modem and a telephone line, a user can dial into a system running
'Net BBS and gain immediate access to e-mail, usenet newsgroups, FTP,
gopher, outgoing Telnet and other services.

The 'Net BBS package retails for [395]. It includes complete documentation
and step-by-step instructions for setting up the system and connecting it
to the Internet. More information, free literature and an interactive
slideshow entitled "The 'Net BBS Tour" are available by calling a
