Insignia Solutions Implements Insignia Solutions Partners Program

VARs Use NTRIGUE to Increase Business by Extending Their Windows NT Market
Penetration

SANTA CLARA, CA, APRIL 22, 1996 -- Insignia Solutions (Nasdaq: INSGY) has
implemented the Insignia Solutions Partners (ISP) program which provides
comprehensive training, a pricing plan, technical support, marketing and
sales support to existing and new VARs who resell NTRIGUE.

NTRIGUE is a high-performance, multi-user Windows NT-based application
server that delivers Windows 95, Windows 3.x and Windows NT applications
to all X terminals, UNIX workstations, Power Macintosh and Macintosh
computers and PCs. Through the ISP program, VARs can use NTRIGUE to
increase revenues from existing customers by delivering Windows NT to new
desktops. NTRIGUE also leverages a VAR's existing investment in Windows NT
training -- minimizing the time needed to generate revenues from the
addition of NTRIGUE to a VAR's existing family of solutions.

"I have had a lot of experience with support from software vendors and
Insignia Solutions is the best I've found," said ISP participant Dave
Braithwaite of Youmans, Braithwaite & Rechif. "I'm looking at using
NTRIGUE to introduce our services into a market that I was previously
unable to reach. This thing is bullet-proof."

NTRIGUE GENERATES NEW BUSINESS FOR VARS

VARs that currently sell Windows NT-based solutions or services can benefit
by joining the ISP program. NTRIGUE allows Windows NT to be accessed by
additional desktops in the enterprise including X terminals, UNIX
workstations, PCs and Macintosh computers. VARs can expand their Windows
NT-based business in existing accounts and also pursue opportunities with
new customers who have requirements for providing Windows NT applications
to heterogeneous desktops.

Existing UNIX VARs can also benefit from the ISP program. VARs whose
customers are transitioning from UNIX to Windows NT, or are considering
such a transition, can use NTRIGUE to bring the two environments together.
NTRIGUE allows these VARs to provide additional services to customers
where UNIX is co-existing with Windows NT.

ISP PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

VARs who participate in the ISP program are granted a full NTRIGUE license
for resale or internal use. The ISP program also gives participants
exclusive leads from designated geographical areas and options for
reselling Insignia Solutions' technical service and support programs. At
the same time, VARs with their own technical support organization can
purchase any of the NTRIGUE support plans at a discount for their own use.
In this case, VARs provide first-line support to customers, and Insignia
Solutions provides second-level support to VARs. ISP participants also
have dedicated Insignia Solutions sales and pre-sales support
representatives.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Insignia offers a two-day NTRIGUE training class which covers planning,
installation, configuration and system administration. Classes are
scheduled monthly and held at venues throughout the U.S. Insignia
Solutions also offers a five-day training course on NTRIGUE and Windows NT
designed for technical staff responsible for the configuration,
installation and support of NTRIGUE, Microsoft Windows NT Workstation and
Windows NT Server. For more information on these courses and the ISP
program, contact Insignia Solutions at 800-241-8499 or e-mail
