Frontier Technologies' Ships CyberSearch 2.0

Off-line search tool now works with Microsoft's Internet Explorer and
Netscape Navigator

LAS VEGAS, NV -- April 1, 1996 -- Frontier Technologies today announces
theimmediate availability of CyberSearch 2.0, the second generation of its
award-winning CyberSearch CD-ROM which permits Internet users to search
for useful information off-line. The product is being demonstrated at
Networld + Interop (booth # 732). The new version offers two new important
features, it is optimized for 32-bit operation in the Windows 95 and
Windows NT environment and it is browser-independent, adding value to
popular browsers.

CyberSearch consists of a database of over a half million Internet
locations, searchable by keyword, integrated with an easy-to-use Internet
Organizer, which allows users to save and manage Internet sites.
CyberSearch allows the user to search the Internet off-line from their
CD-ROM drive, saving considerable time and reducing Internet connection
charges. Once they do go on-line, users can download multiple Internet
sources at once, thereby increasing productivity. The database is LycosTM,
developed by Carnegie Mellon University, which is widely accepted as the
most extensive catalog of Internet resources available to the public.

"By integrating the best of both CD-ROM and Internet technologies,
CyberSearch provides a simple, fast way to find the information on any
chosen topic," said Dr. Prakash Ambegaonkar, CEO at Frontier Technologies,
Inc.. CyberSearch provides significant cost savings for users concerned
with Internet connection charges such as international customers and those
with hourly Internet access rates."

CyberSearch works with the user's favorite Internet browser, including
Microsoft's Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, NCSA Mosaic and GNN
GNNWorks. CyberSearch runs on Windows 3.x, Windows 95, and Windows NT.

Frontier Technologies offers optional monthly or quarterly updates to
CyberSearch via subscription to reflect the rapidly-expanding array of
information available on the Internet. Each CD-ROM contains an updated
version of the Lycos database. Also included in the updates are CyberGuide
Reviews provided by NetGuide Magazine, to provide subscribers with
up-to-date pointers to new and improved sites on the Internet. Users can
read the reviews, rated between one and four stars, then connect to sites
of interest via hyperlinks.
