NASH AND BROWN SPAN THE GLOBE TO BRING EXCLUSIVE CELEBRITY NEWS TO WOW!

COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 29, 1996 -- Anyone can see Oscar-winner Mel Gibson's
heroic adventures in "Braveheart." But did you hear about his battle with
a bad potato in San Sebastian, Spain? Only if you're a member of WOW! from
CompuServe, the new consumer online information service for home use.

Syndicated columnist Jesse Nash and his partner, photographer Jacqui Brown,
travel worldwide to join top celebrities at work and play, and report on
their exploits. Their weekly column, "Globetrotting With Jesse Nash and
Jacqui Brown," appears exclusively on WOW! and features a collection of
anecdotes and interviews. Photographs by Brown and other top paparazzi
accompany the online text.

"We wanted to offer WOW! members something different, celebrity news with a
new twist. Jesse's column is unique because he's not just going to
Hollywood parties. He follows these people all over the world and
participates in their activities," said WOW! product manager Heather
Carlisle. "As a result, they're more inclined to let down their guard. He
goes beyond the public persona and gets them to reveal their more personal
side."

Nash, who is a frequent guest on television talk shows hosted by Geraldo
Rivera and Sally Jesse Raphael, recently traveled to Shanghai, Edinburgh,
Venice and Berlin in pursuit of exclusive stories from the worlds of
entertainment, fashion and sports. On a junket to Dubai, United Arab
Emirate, he sand-skied with the unlikely trio of David Bowie, Michael
Bolton and Stevie Wonder.

Gibson's encounter with the substandard spud, Nash explained in his first
WOW! column, occurred in a restaurant when the actor was feeling ill and
out of sorts. He complained to a waiter about the "bad potato," prompting
the beleaguered waiter to scold and spank the potato, which in turn sent
Gibson and his companions into gales of laughter.

"A lot of the people in my profession are stuck at a desk, but I've always
wanted to do a globetrotting column," Nash said. "I'm happy that the
column made its debut on WOW! because CompuServe is well known for
fostering a global community online."

In addition to his WOW! column and his TV appearances, Nash writes a
syndicated column which appears in newspapers and periodicals throughout
the United Kingdom, as well as in For Women magazine and Le Parisien in
France. Nash also provides breaking news to columnists in the New York
Post and the New York Daily News. His one-minute radio spots, syndicated
by SJS Entertainment, air twice a week.
