Blue Sky Software Announces New ActiveX Controls for the Internet and
Windows Help

Blue Sky Software announces support for Microsoft ActiveX Technologies

La Jolla, CA, April 1st - Blue Sky Software announces a family of ActiveX
Controls, including ActiveHelp and ActiveWeb. Blue Sky Software's new
ActiveX Controls will provide access to a wide range of Internet and Help
features, designed to provide developers with maximum productivity.

"We are excited to see Blue Sky Software enhance its ActiveX Controls for
the Internet, including ActiveWeb," said Tom Button, Director of Marketing
for Microsoft's Internet Platform and Tools Division. "It's components
like Blue Sky Software's family of Internet-enhanced ActiveX Controls that
will provide Internet and Intranet users with a truly interactive
environment," continued Tom Button at Microsoft Corp. Blue Sky Software is
continuing its commitment of focusing on maximum productivity, plus new
leading-edge technology and these upcoming cutting-edge Internet-enhanced
ActiveX Controls will play a significant role in the Internet development
market.

"Our upcoming family of ActiveX Controls will benefit all developers
actively involved in Internet and Windows development and will
significantly increase their productivity," said Jorgen Lien, President of
Blue Sky Software Corp. "With the new ActiveWeb Control, Blue Sky Software
integrates Windows with the Internet by allowing users to jump directly
from any Windows application to the Intranet or the Internet. Software
users can now click on a button in a Windows application and jump directly
to any Internet Web and Intranet site, or send email via the Internet,"
continued Jorgen Lien at Blue Sky Software Corporation.

ActiveWeb Control

The ActiveWeb Control creates a button into any Windows application to jump
directly to any World Wide Web site or Intranet site. With a click on the
ActiveWeb button, application users can also download any file from the
Internet or send e-mail. The ActiveWeb Control supports all major Web
Browsers.

Jumping from Windows to a World Wide Web site With a link to their own Home
page, software publishers can provide users instant access to the most
frequently asked questions and answers on products, the latest technical
support tips for products, marketing information, new product
announcements, and more. With a link to another company's Web page,
software publishers can provide their users instant access to their
business partners' Web pages and information about products which
complement their software.

Downloading files from the Internet to any Windows application The
ActiveWeb Control is invaluable if software publishers want to provide
their users with information and files not available at the shipping date
of the software. For example, tutorials or samples, bug fixes, updated
files, and free upgrades.

Providing a direct Internet e-mail link from any Windows application

With the ActiveWeb Control, software publishers can create an e-mail link
directly from their application to their own technical support and/or
provide an e-mail link to register a product electronically.

ActiveHelp Control

The ActiveHelp Control is an enhanced version of the current SmartHelp OLE
Control which eliminates the need to program context-sensitive Help into
any Windows application developed with Visual Basic 4.0, Visual C++ 4.1,
Access 95, and Visual FoxPro 3.0 or any other development environment
supporting the ActiveX or OLE Control standard.

Using the ActiveHelp control, software developers simply drag and drop the
included Help button in the application's forms/screens and visually
select any Help file (HLP) - no source code needed. The Help button is
automatically linked to the selected topic and the context-sensitive Help
link is created between the application and the Help file. No programming
is needed by the developer. With the new ActiveHelp control, it takes only
few seconds to integrate context-sensitive Help buttons into any Visual
Basic 4.0, Visual C++ 4.1, Access 95, and Visual FoxPro 3.0 application.
The ActiveHelp control also includes a Button Gallery with different types
of graphical Help buttons to visually choose from.
