Win Trek has been very successful for us. All of our registered users are
very excited about this game. We have gotten nothing but rave reviews over
this project.

Win Trek is a star Trek type clone game. It is written for Windows 3.1 and
above. It is based on the next generation time period. It is a very
involved and detailed simulation of starship operation. It includes a
large amount of graphics and animation. It also includes many sound
effects. The game is written as a MDI application that uses multiple
active windows. The game contains three game levels for the beginner to
advanced. There are many options and random events that make the game
different each time. Players can do anything from dock with a starbase to
create a sensor overload. Also included is a very detailed help file
explaining all the star trek terms used in the game. This game includes a
toolbar for fast commands. Also, there is a custom game level editor to
allow a registered user to change the game objects. For example, allow 99
photons or repair the ship 99 hit points a time.

Please Note: It has come to our attention that two other shareware authors
are using the Win Trek name for their star trek clones. We have spoken to
both authors. They have agreed to change the name of their game. We have
also spoken to Paramount Pictures to make sure we do not infringe on star
trek's trademarks or copyrights. We have gone to great lengths to make our
game legal.

The current release is 1.71. The registration fee is $12.95 US.

Win Battle is a Battlestar Galactica theme game. It was built using the
same look and feel of our very successful Win Trek game. This game differs
from Win Trek in a few ways. The playing of the game is quite different.
Now instead of the players going after ships themselves, the players send
their fighters to do the fighting. This requires more thought and
strategy. The main ships in this game only have defensive fire power. They
must depend on their fighters to fight for them. We have given the
fighters a great deal of "brains" to fight for you. So, you launch a few
fighters at the other ship and watch them fight it out for you. You also
have missiles and lasers to help you defeat your enemies.

The current release is 1.02. The registration fee is $11.95 US.

We would like to inform you that Pelvis is definitely still alive! That's
right, he didn't fake his own death. Pelvis did not overdose on little
green pills either. Rather, he was taken from us by little green
creatures, most commonly known as "aliens." Pelvis has been kidnapped by
ALIENS!! Win Pelvis-n-Space was built using the same look and feel of our
very successful Win Trek game. This game differs from Win Trek in a few
ways. The playing of the game is quite different. Now instead of the
players going after ships themselves, the players send their attack drones
to do the fighting. This requires more thought and strategy. It also
differs from Win Battle because you also have missiles and lasers to help
you defeat your enemies. Your mission is to collect all the Relicts and
trade them for Pelvis. Then you return to Earth. Windows Magazine gave
this game a great review in the August '93 issue.

The current release is 1.00. The registration fee is $14.95 US.

Release 2.xx/3.xx of CD Wizzard is an audio CD player written for Windows
3.1. It requires a CD-ROM device to play music CDs. CD Wizzard is a
complete implementation of a home CD player. Included are buttons for
play, pause, scan, stop, eject, track reverse, reverse skip, forward skip,
and track forward. It allows fast forward and reverse modes and a
real-time display of track number and time. The look and feel of the
window can be customized by the user. The icon also displays the track
time and track number in real-time. Also, the icon can be set to be always
on top. The icon can be single clicked to conveniently pause or resume the
current CD. The program will also go into small mode. In small mode CD
Wizzard will take up very little screen space but most functions are still
available. An output meter will display a graph of the music currently
being played. The output meter is also on the small mode. The volume of
the CD-ROM can be controlled from the main window and small mode. A status
bar displays the current status of the CD player and gives quick help on
areas of the window. A shuffle mode can be used to play tracks randomly. A
programmed mode allows drag & drop programming of tracks. A disc database
is maintained to name each disc and track, artist, category, label, and
comments with two additional fields that can be named by the user. The
database supports up to 2000 discs. The user can sample the first 4
seconds of each track and save the compressed samples. The samples can be
played back without the disc in the drive. This allows the user to find a
song on a CD without inserting many CDs. The disc database can be exported
to a text file so that it can be imported to a word processor,
spreadsheet, or database program. CD Wizzard is as easy to use as a home
CD player. A very detailed description of CD-ROM devices is included to
help users trouble-shoot their system setup.

The new release 4.xx of CD Wizzard is a full 32-bit application written for
Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0. The new release contains the features
mentioned above plus all the following. It takes full advantage of the new
Windows environment, incorporating many of its new features. Tooltips are
available on both large and small mode areas and buttons. A Windows
Taskbar icon displays the current CD status. A right mouse button click
displays a CD Wizzard menu. The track number is also displayed in the Time
Window. It can print both summary and detailed reports of your CD
database. CD Wizzard has improved import and export functions. Users can
easily import CCD Wizzard 2.xx INI files, CD Wizzard 3.xx DDB files,
Windows CD Player INI files, and comma-delimited files. The Export
function offers a wide range of export options to fit the user's needs.
The Disc Database dialog displays all of a disc's information using a
Windows treeview format. This information can be edited either within the
tree or using the Edit Disc dialog window. Individual tracks have a new
feature that lets the user identify the individual track artist, composer,
and a user defined field. This is especially useful for Various Artist
discs. A Date field enables the user to categorize each disc by copyright
year. CD Wizzard can now play WAV sounds for different events, such as
opening and closing the CD drive door. A series of sounds are included, or
the user's own can be used. It now uses the CD-ROM drive letter name to
configure the player, allowing for easier multi-CD-ROM drive usage. Small
window mode has three text windows to display full disc and track
information. The user can reconfigure the Large and Small windows to
display whatever disc or track information the user desires. The position
and the length of a track that has been sampled can be set. Eject and
close works on most drives, even those with faulty BIOSs. CD Wizzard uses
the new WinHelp 4.0 system. It offers full contents, index, and find
functionality. It also offers context popup help or the "?" button on all
dialog windows. New Programmed Random mode will randomly play the
programmed tracks selected. The Track Box Display will display only the
tracks programmed.

The current release for Windows 3.1 is 3.12.
The registration fee is $15.95 US.
The current release for Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0 is 4.00.
The registration fee is $19.95.
