AT&T WorldNet Service gives Corel customers dial access to the Internet

APRIL 23, 1996 -- NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Corel Corporation and AT&T today
announced an agreement that will give customers of Corel's popular
software products dial access to AT&T WorldNet Service, which provides
value-added access to the Internet.

Access to AT&T WorldNet Service will be integrated into the U.S. versions
of Corel WordPerfectR Suite and Corel Office Professional for Windows 3.1x
and will be available May 1. AT&T WorldNet Service will be later
integrated with CorelDRAW and Corel Print House and other Corel products.

"This agreement gives our customers who register for AT&T WorldNet Service
immediate Internet access," said Dr. Michael Cowpland, president and chief
executive officer of Corel Corporation. "We are pleased to add AT&T
WorldNet Service, which includes the AT&T-branded version of Netscape
NavigatorR, to our products to give our customers the quickest, easiest
and most reliable dial-up access to the Internet available."

Corel's customers will have access to Corel's home page through AT&T
WorldNet Service for previews of upcoming products, upgrades and
promotional information.

"Corel and AT&T believe that access to the Internet has become a standard
part of desktop computing, like word processing or spreadsheet use," said
Tom Evslin, vice president of AT&T WorldNet Service. "We are happy to work
with this leader in software for graphics, multimedia and word processing
to make AT&T WorldNet Service a full member of their product offering."

Corel WordPerfect Suite and Office Professional also includes Starfish's
Sidekick and Dashboard software products.

"Including AT&T WorldNet Service with Corel WordPerfect Suite represents an
excellent value proposition for customers," said Starfish Software
Chairman Philippe Kahn. "Corel's market-driven strategy is certain to
succeed in a wider use of our technology as well as a broader use of the
Internet and the World Wide Web with Office Suites."

The offer includes AT&T's revolutionary pricing: AT&T long distance
customers have their choice of a year free trial on the Internet with the
first five hours free each month or $19.95 per month for unlimited use.
Corel's non-AT&T customers have their choice of unlimited access available
for $24.95 a month, or $4.95 a month for the first three hours with the
first five hours free in the first month after registration. Customers not
on the unlimited plan are billed $2.50 per hour for additional usage.
Customers pay separately for any local charges. Access to the service is
available via an 800 number, with a $4.50 an hour surcharge.

AT&T brings to Corel customers its "Internet for Everyone" service, with
directories and topical areas to help people find useful information,
guided tours for newcomers, navigational aids for users of all skill
levels, and electronic mail. AT&T WorldNet Service will work with most of
today's popular Internet browsers, although an AT&T-branded version of the
Netscape Navigator browser software is preconfigured for easy
installation. The service also includes an AT&T toll-free, 24-hour hotline
and world-class customer care.
