America Online To Distribute Standard & Poor's ComStock's Financial Data

Harrison, NY/Vienna, VA, April 1, 1996-- America Online signed an agreement
with Standard & Poor's ComStock, a premier provider of real-time financial
data, to distribute ComStock's financial data on America Online.

Under the terms of the agreement, ComStock will provide America Online with
quotes for equity exchanges such as the American Stock Exchange (AMEX),
New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), NASDAQ, Toronto Stock Exchange, Frankfurt
Stock Exchange, London Stock Exchange, and Paris Stock Exchange. Members
will have access to options information on AMEX, CBOE, NYSE, Pacific,
Philadelphia, and Foreign Currency. At least nine futures exchanges will
be providing information, and ComStock will also provide Standard & Poor's
foreign exchange data, and international exchange rates. The service will
be made available to America Online's more than five million global
subscribers 24 hours a day.

This agreement allows AOL, for the first time ever, to provide data from
international exchanges to their users in the U.S., Canada, Germany, the
U.K. and France. Standard & Poor's ComStock's data will be located in the
Personal Finance Channel area of AOL by the end of summer, 1996.
