Adobe Systems to Host Series of Internet Conferences for Web Designers

Mountain View, Calif. (April 10, 1996) (Nasdaq:ADBE) - Adobe Systems
Incorporated today announced The Adobe Internet Conference, a series of
indepth sessions, discussions and tutorials on Web page creation and
design. Targeted at graphic designers, webmasters, and marketing
communications and publishing professionals involved in designing for the
Web, the two-day conferences will bring together some of the world's top
designers and sitemasters who will share tips and techniques for
developing compelling Web pages on both Macintosh and Windows platforms.
The conferences will be held in four cities - including San Francisco, New
York, Dallas and Chicago - from June through October.

"Content developers and designers are entering a whole new realm with the
World Wide Web," said John Warnock, Adobe Systems co-founder and CEO.
"This is a place for them to share their insights and find out how their
colleagues have made the transition successfully."

Adobe Systems develops and markets some of today's leading applications for
designing graphics for the Web (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and
Adobe PhotoDeluxe); Web page layout and design (Adobe PageMaker, Adobe
FrameMaker and Adobe PageMill); distributing richly formatted documents
electronically (Adobe Acrobat); and managing Web sites (Adobe SiteMill).
Conference attendees will be able to design their own curriculum, choosing
from more than 20 sessions on topics such as HTML Made Easy, Optimizing
Images for the Web, Building a Web Interface, Encouraging Return Visits,
Advanced Web Design, Getting a Site On-Line, Making It Move: Animating
Your Site, Publicizing Your Page, Optimizing Video and Audio for the Web,
and Web Site from Scratch.

Speakers include Web aficionados such as Sarah Cohen, senior editor/new
media, React Magazine; Hugh Dubberly, creative director, Netscape
Communications Corp.; Lisa Lopuck, author, Designing Multimedia; Neil
Robertson, new media designer, Phinney-Bischoff Design House; Amy Satran,
co-author, Interactivity by Design; Robert Seidl, product planner, Adobe
Internet products group; and more.

Each attendee will receive a copy of Adobe PageMill, Acrobat Pro, and
PhotoDeluxe software, a $500 value. In addition, they will also receive an
Adobe Internet Conference CD-ROM which includes in-depth, how-to
information, sample Acrobat files, QuickTime movies, templates, Adobe tech
notes, clip art images from Image Club's new Art Bites for Web Sites, and
20 of Adobe's Type 1 fonts. Conference attendees will also be eligible to
