SAN JOSE, CA, APRIL 22, 1996 -- Acer America Corporation, known for its
innovative Aspire home PC and as the second fastest growing PC
manufacturer in the US according to International Data Corporation, today
introduced a new line of commercial products including AcerAltos
multiprocessing servers, AcerPower business and multimedia configurations,
AcerView monitors and the AcerNote Light Pentium Family notebook.
Recognized as the price/performance leaders for all-sized businesses,
Acer's commercial solutions accounted for forty percent of Acer America's
$1.44 billion in revenues in 1995.

AcerAltos, AcerView, AcerPower and AcerNote Light along with AcerEntra and
AOpen components are part of the Commercial Systems Division at Acer
