TRUEVISION ANNOUNCES SOLUTION PARTNERSHIP WITH IN:SYNC CORPORATION

Truevision's TARGA 1000 Pro and in:sync's Speed Razor Now Available as
Complete Non-linear Editing System

SANTA CLARA, Feb. 1, 1996 -- Truevision (NASDAQ:TRUV) announced today that
the TARGA 1000 Pro, its powerful desktop video production solution, will
be bundled with in:sync Corporation's Speed Razor Mach III for Windows NT.
Speed Razor Mach III is a high performance, Windows NT-based, non-linear
digital video editing software package that delivers a complete range of
compositing, transition and special effects. "The combination of the TARGA
1000 Pro and Speed Razor breaks an important price-performance barrier for
broadcast quality, non-linear video editing," said Didier Bredy,
Truevision's vice president of marketing. "Speed Razor's power and
versatility with the TARGA board gives video professionals a powerful
Windows NT-based editing solution."

The bundled system is available immediately and has a suggested retail list
price of $5,900. It will be distributed exclusively by in:sync Corporation
until March, 1996.

"We believe the TARGA 1000 Pro delivers an excellent broadcast quality
video capture and playback solution," said Jamie Carr, CEO of in:sync
Corporation. "The combination of TARGA with Speed Razor represents a
significant leap forward in digital video editing."

TARGA 1000 Pro delivers a fully integrated audio and video solution for
capture and playback. Unlike its closest competitor, the DPS Perception
card, TARGA 1000 Pro provides on-board audio I/O and hardware-
synchronized audio and video. TARGA 1000 Pro captures video and audio
directly into the standard Windows NT file system whereas video and audio
files captured by the Perception card are separate and reside in two
different file systems, one of which is proprietary.

TARGA 1000 Pro offers all of the key video and audio features required by
video professionals and multimedia authors. TARGA 1000 Pro is the only
product in its price range to offer:

 Full-screen, full-motion video capture, record-to-disk and playback
at 30 frames (60 fields) per second for NTSC and 25 frames (50
 fields) per second for PAL.

Composite, S-Video and Component video (RGB and YUV) input and
 output.

 720 x 486, 648 x 486, 640 x 480 (NTSC) and 720 x 576 (PAL) input
 and output.

16-bit CD/DAT-quality stereo audio simultaneously captured and
 synchronized to video.

Real-time Motion-JPEG video compression and decompression with
 adjustable compression ratio.

NTSC or PAL monitor for viewing during video capture and playback,
with control of the TARGA 1000 via the computer's VGA display.

Full compliance with Windows NT v3.51 and all 32-bit VfW
 applications.

Genlock via separate sync input or to video source.
