Graphics Class Libraries for MFC

C/C++ and MFC Development Tools for Windows Graphics Applications

NEEDHAM, MA - Quinn-Curtis, Inc. announces the Graphics Class Libraries for
MFC, an advanced programmer's tool kit of MFC-based classes that can be
used to create static charts and dynamic real-time displays in
applications running under the Microsoft Windows family of operating
systems. Programmers can now create advanced real-time process control,
scientific instrumentation, and monitoring displays for Windows, Windows
NT and Windows 95. The Graphics Class Libraries for MFC is compatible with
both 16-bit (Windows 3.1) and 32-bit (Window NT and Windows 95) MFC-based
application programs.

The Quinn-Curtis Graphics Class Library (GCL) for MFC is an add-on product
for the Quinn-Curtis Charting Tools ($300) and Real-Time Graphics Tools
($600) for Windows. The Graphics Class Libraries for MFC are an extension
to MFC, integrating our tools with the Document/View architecture. This
library includes classes for both the Charting Tools and Real-Time
Graphics Tools. It provides a convenient object-oriented interface that
significantly reduces the effort needed to program graphics applications.
With these libraries you can build graphs that inherit all of the behavior
of CWnd, CView, CScrollView, and CFormView classes, including print
preview. The cost of the Quinn-Curtis Graphics Class Libraries for MFC is
$200. The full source for the class library is included. This programming
tool kit includes a collection of dynamic graph types which can be updated
in real-time with smooth scrolling and an absolute minimum of redrawing
and flicker. This is exactly what professionals expect in their process
control equipment, scientific and medical instrumentation, on-line stock
market monitoring systems, and network traffic control systems, just to
name a few of the high end real-time graphics applications this software
is suitable for.

The Graphics Class Libraries for MFC includes static chart types for line
plots, scatter plots, area plots, bar graphs, floating bars, group plots,
error bars, high-low-close plots, and pie charts. Dynamic graph types
include: scrolling graphs, sweep graphs, logic graphs, scrolling bar
graphs, xy plots, annunciators, text, bar graphs, and various styles of
meters. In addition, you can add LED indicators, buttons, scroll bars and
check boxes to any graphics window. Built-in dialog boxes can be used to
edit chart characteristics. Once the charts are created, they can be sent
to Windows supported devices at the resolution of the device, creating
presentation quality printouts, slides, or transparencies. Other features
include: DDE support, alarm checking and reporting, historical data
replay, time axis labels, and PID control. GCL includes more than 250
member functions and includes 15 examples programs and a 400 page manual.
A written tutorial teaches programmers how to create MFC-based
applications using GCL and the Visual C++ App Wizard.

There are no royalties or runtime fees when these tools are used to create
Windows application programs.
