PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGY SHIPS POWERLAN 3.2 FOR WINDOWS 95

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, February 7, 1996--Performance Technology (PT) announced
today Version 3.2 of its POWERLan peer networking software. This release
features full POWERLan operation for Windows 95 users. In addition to
current POWERLan customers, the new version targets Windows 95 users or
users of mixed DOS/Windows/Windows95 environments who seek to
substantially expand their networking options with a compatible, yet
easy-to-use solution.

POWERLan 3.2 offers important networking advantages not otherwise available
to Windows 95 users, such as centralized management for: logon,
user-and-group administration, resource administration, security, and
print spool activities. POWERLan 3.2 supports both clients and
non-dedicated servers under Windows 95. Plus, POWERLan's multi-tasking
dedicated server offers a fast, easy-to-install, and economical file and
print server for Windows 95 clients.

The POWERLan 3.2 interface and utilities remain consistent with previous
POWERLan versions for Windows; no retraining is needed. All network
interface card (NIC) drivers available either with Windows 95 or POWERLan
are supported, providing broad NIC compatibility for users.

AVAILABILITY AND PRICING

Available immediately, the POWERLan 3.2 upgrade will be free of charge
electronically to existing 3.1 customers. New POWERLan customer pricing
remains unchanged at $99/user or $395/5-users. The POWERserve dedicated
server supports unlimited licensed clients and lists at $299/server; a
5-user-plus-POWERserve bundle is $599, and an unlimited-
user-plus-POWERserve pack is $2495.
