VBVoice, Win32 Edition Leverages 32-bit OLE Technology To Provide A
Flexible and Powerful Computer Telephony Toolkit for Creating Windows 95
and NT Applications

OTTAWA, CANADA - PRONEXUS announces a 32-bit OLE Control (.OCX) version of
VBVoice, its popular computer telephony application toolkit for Visual
Basic. VBVoice, Win32 Edition leverages the OLE technology featured in
Microsoft Visual Basic 4.0 and supports the development of computer
telephony applications for both Windows 95 and Windows NT.

"PRONEXUS is strategically committed to 32-bit OLE component technology
because it offers developers the ability to easily create scaleable,
enterprise-wide computer telephony solutions," says Ian Bowles, President
of PRONEXUS. "VBVoice, Win32 Edition takes full advantage of OLE
technology, enabling developers to build everything from simple single
line desktop applications to high density telephony server solutions."

The 16-bit VBX version of VBVoice has established itself as a leading
computer telephony application toolkit for Visual Basic. VBVoice gives
developers the ability to create Windows applications that answer the
phone, dial and transfer calls, play greetings and prompts, take messages,
collect touch-tone digits, access databases, speak data, send and receive
faxes, and more. The potential applications include: voice mail, info
hotlines and talking classifieds, touch- tone order entry, automated
out-dialing, chat lines, fax-on-demand, and any other application
involving elements of voice or fax messaging and telephonic-based
information exchange. VBVoice directly supports most of the leading voice
card brands and the Windows Telephony API (TAPI).

The unique, easy-to-use graphical design interface provided by VBVoice
allows users to easily and quickly develop a wide range of sophisticated
computer telephony and fax applications. Applications are created by
simply selecting control elements from the toolbox, connecting them
together to create a visual flowchart of the call flow logic, and then
filling out setup dialogs to set control properties. Most applications
require no code; however, users can customize their applications with
their own code whenever required. Access is also provided to VBVoice
control properties and voice card functions directly from code.

In addition to 32-bit OLE technology support, the Win32 Edition of VBVoice
offers many improvements. User interface improvements include extensive
use of tabbed dialogs and right-click pop-up menus. Architectural
improvements include the ability to run multiple VBVoice applications
simultaneously and link them via OLE, allowing the control of calls to be
passed between applications. This allows developers to take advantage of
the multitasking capabilities of the operating system while maintaining
central control of the overall application. Improved runtime control of
voice greetings and enhanced provisions for customizing through code are
also featured in the Win32 Edition.

"Our mission is to provide Computer Telephony tools that leverage the
benefits of component-based visual software development environments for
Windows, thereby enabling users to easily and quickly create innovative
computer telephony solutions," says Bob McCallum, Director of Marketing at
PRONEXUS. "Unlike any other computer telephony toolkit, VBVoice, Win32
Edition combines the ease-of-use of a flowchart-driven design interface
with the flexibility and connectivity offered by the Visual Basic 4.0."

VBVoice, Win32 Edition will be available from PRONEXUS during Q1, 1996. It
will be available in several versions, starting at $395 for the single
line version with a 30 day money-back guarantee. A free functional
evaluation version of VBVoice is also available from PRONEXUS. The VBX
version of VBVoice has been available since April 1994.
