COMPUTER TELEPHONY EXPLODES AT NETWORKS EXPO BOSTON

Innovations in Computer Telephony Will Be Featured at Networks Expo Boston,
Taking Place at the John B. Hynes Convention Center, February 13-15, 1996

(Fort Lee, NJ, Jan. 30) -- The integration of telephone operations and
computer networking will be showcased through the computer telephony
integration (CTI) products and conferences featured at Networks Expo
Boston, February 13-15, 1996, at the Hynes Convention Center. Networks
Expo attendees will explore the world of CTI through new CTI products from
leading exhibitors, hands-on applications at the CTI Lab on the show
floor, seminars and a keynote presentation.

Robert Harbison, president of Network Integration Consultants of Sausalito,
CA, will guide attendees through a free seminar at the CTI Lab (Booth
#1000, Plaza Level). He will give an overview of CTI and Computer
Supported Telephony Applications (CSTA), and then explore the differences
between first-party call control (TAPI) and third-party call control
(TSAPI). Live demonstrations of several other applications will follow,
including computerized voice mail and intelligent call processing.

"CTI applications can provide tremendous business savings through caller
ID, intelligent call processing, auto-attendant and interactive voice
response, computerized voice mail systems, as well as the integration of
fax and electronic mail applications. CTI can vastly expedite and simplify
day-to-day operations while providing complete integration with existing
network applications," said Mr. Harbison. "Networks Expo will be the best
forum for explaining how CTI delivers all the traditional voice and
messaging applications on a single platform, finally providing our
telephone systems with many of the advantages of the open systems we have
experienced with enterprise networking."

Several exhibitors are demonstrating new CTI products and services at
Networks Expo Boston, including: Claflin & Clayton, CSI/Suttle Apparatus,
IBM Call Path Marketing, National Microsystems, Novell, Rhetorex and
Unitel. CSI/Suttle Apparatus will be displaying their corrosion-resistant
jacks for increased connector reliability. IBM will showcase their latest
voice messaging application, DirectTalkMail, and its related voice
recognition technology. AT&T and Novell will also demonstrate their
support systems for TSAPI, now that TAPI is built into Microsoft's Windows
95 operating system. '

The Networks Expo Conference Program will dedicate a track of seven
seminars and one tutorial to the topic. The track, chaired by Mr.
Harbison, will include information on CT integration, business automation,
small and home office telephony, CTI-enabled telephone switch, desktop and
LAN telephony integration, and selecting telephony platforms.

Computer telephony will also be the focus of the second-day keynote address
by Howard G. Bubb, president and chief executive officer of the Dialogic
Corporation on February 14, at 9 a.m. Mr. Bubb will address,
"Client/Server Computer Telephony," during his presentation in the Hynes
Ballroom, Third Level. Don Haile, general manager of the Networking
Software Division of IBM Corporation will give the first-day keynote
address, exploring, "The Incredible, Invisible Network," on February, 13,
at 9 a.m., in the same location at the Hynes Convention Center.
