MICRO EXPRESS INTRODUCES THE WORLD'S FASTEST PC...
AND IT'S BASED ON A NON-INTEL MICROPROCESSOR

Irvine, CA, February 1996 Micro Express introduces the world's fastest PC,
the MicroFLEX-686/133, based on the new Cyrix 6x86-P166+ microprocessor
chip. Due to its unique architecture, the 6x86-P166+ chip is capable of
performance in excess of a 166-MHz Pentium, while running at only 133 MHz.
This chip is optimized to run current software, and users do not have to
buy recompiled software to boost performance. The 6x86-P166+ runs existing
x86 code in native mode, and provides dual multi-staged pipelines to keep
information flowing continuously.

The MicroFLEX-686/133 is available for only $2499, including 16-MB of EDO
RAM, 512K of L2 cache, a 4X CD-ROM drive, a 1.2-GB fast hard disk drive, a
high-density 3 1/2" floppy disk drive, a sound card, speakers, a
high-quality 15" monitor and a mouse. The system also includes a
high-performance 64-bit PCI video card that has 2-MB of RAM and comes with
Windows 95 preinstalled.

The MicroFLEX-686/133 includes the flexible Phoenix PnP Flash BIOS offering
password protection and selectable shadowing of both system and video
BIOS. As a Plug and Play BIOS, it allows autoconfiguration of all Plug and
Play add-in cards with seamless Windows 95 compatibility. A CMOS
clock-calendar is included, as are built-in diagnostics.

The MicroFLEX-686/133 is shipped in a mini-tower case, measuring 7.1"[W] x
14.6"[H] x 18.25"[D]. The case has provision for three accessible 5-1/4"
drives, two accessible 3112" drives, two internal 3-1/2" drives and one
internal 5-1/4" drive. The proprietary PCI motherboard has seven expansion
slots, including three PCI slots and four 16-bit ISA slots.

The Best Customer Support Anywhere

A full 2-year warranty is included on parts and labor for these PCs, with
shipping for the first 4 months paid both ways by Micro Express, as well
as a 30-day money-back guarantee. Optional on-site service, through GE, is
also available. If a board fails, Micro Express offers 24-hour express
board replacement service. As with all other Micro Express computers, this
machine is burned in for 72 hours before shipping to eliminate early
failures. In addition, a toll-free number is provided for free unlimited
technical support. Technical support is available 24-hours per day and
7-days per week as part of the exclusive Micro Express "Always" customer
support program. When technical documents are required, Micro Express
offers Automated FAX-back Service. Using this service, documents can be
requested through voice-mail and will be FAXed directly to the customer
without human intervention.

The MicroFLEX-686/133 will be available in March 1996, direct from Micro
Express.
