SANTA CLARA, CA, FEBRUARY 5, 1996 -- Insignia Solutions (NASDAQ: INSGY) has
moved its headquarters from Mountain View, California to Santa Clara,
California to meet its need for more space. A larger work force and
Insignia Solutions' continuing commitment to customer satisfaction
necessitated the move to a bigger location.

"We're not just getting bigger, we're getting better," said Robert P. Lee,
Insignia Solutions' president and CEO. "The larger space is just a
harbinger of good things to come at Insignia Solutions."

The new headquarters measures 46,000 square-feet, nearly twice the size of
the previous location. It is centrally-located in the heart of Silicon
Valley and features improved testing and tech support labs. The new
location will also house a quality assurance lab, dedicated to fulfilling
customers' needs. "These labs are just another example of how Insignia
Solutions puts the customer first," added Dr. Lee.

The move to Santa Clara takes Insignia Solutions just eight miles away from
its former headquarters in Mountain View, California. The company's
110-member California-based work force was not adversely affected by the
move. "Keeping the new location convenient for our employees was one of
our primary objectives," Dr. Lee said.
