Intergraph delivers civil engineering products for AutoCAD

HUNTSVILLE, ALA., FEB. 8, 1996 -- Intergraph Corporation announced the
delivery of two of its most popular civil engineering products on the
AutoCAD graphics platform today.

InRoads for AutoCAD (InRoads/A) and SiteWorks for AutoCAD (SiteWorks/A) are
now available and ready for shipment. By making these products available
on the AutoCAD platform, Intergraph opens its civil engineering
applications to a vast new potential market of AutoCAD users.

SiteWorks/A provides comprehensive site design and the fastest digital
terrain modeling available in the industry. It contains tools specifically
designed to handle difficult or mundane tasks for civil-works,
environmental and site development projects.

SiteWorks/A accepts data from a variety of sources, including
photogrammetric, ASCII, DEM, x,y,z formats, and data exported in ASCII or
binary format. It offers interactive coordinate geometry and associative
alignments, and enables users to create designs using typical sections or
site design tools for slopes, surface features, pads and more. SiteWorks/A
is priced at $1,495 with an introductory price of $1,095 until March 31,
1996.

InRoads/A provides powerful tools to meet civil-works project needs -- from
coordinate geometry to digital terrain modeling to construction
documentation. It includes the complete functionality of SiteWorks/A which
features the most advanced and fastest DTM capability available today plus
associative alignments with spirals, user-defined typical sections
including super elevation and independent slope and ditch control, and
parametrically-driven decision tables. Ready to load and design without
requiring a programmer's handbook, InRoads/A is priced at $3,995 with an
introductory price of $2,995 until March 31, 1996.

"Intergraph recognizes the immense popularity of the AutoCAD platform, and
is continuing the trend of CAD neutrality and reaching out to the volume
market," said Tommy Steele, president of Intergraph Software Solutions.
"Also, this expansion enables civil engineers and designers to share data
freely between platforms and use many of the same civil capabilities
regardless of the graphics product used."
